Video

[Mami smiled at the camera, her Budew bouncing in her arms making sure she's seen.]

I feel I should introduce myself. I'm Mami Tomoe, and this little one is Fiore. I do hope we can get alo-Fiore!

[She laughed as the baby pokemon batted the Pokegear out of her hand. The screen showed the sky for a moment before being picked back up by the girl.]

Sorry about that. Fiore's a little bit excited.

[A counter against flying types? Someone's already doing her research! Good. He likes to see that.]

Mainly? Keep it warm, and keep it near other Pokémon. I have many working theories about the relationship between Pokémon growth and energy storage, but to put it in plain terms, the egg will need to absorb some measure of energy in order for the Pokémon within to develop to a point where it can viably hatch. Simply carrying it with you as you travel is usually enough.

[MAMI DON'T INVITE THAT HE WILL NEVER SHUT UP--]

I'm going to recommend to you what I recommend to most new arrivals: subscribe to newsletters and periodicals. Pokémon Letters is very good for general information and Egg is most helpful for breeding, I've found. If you happy to see an article by one Dr. Stanford Pines, that would be me.

Not that I'm close to publishing, but I'm working on it.

[He has like five papers going and not a one of them is set for publication because he keeps getting distracted by the other four.]
