Lavender Ahoy! - Video

I reached Lavender Town last night, and oh my gosh it's so spoopy here. I love it. It's very peaceful and respectful and there's ghost pokemon everywhere!

Mimikyu really loves it here, he's been out of his ball for the entire time we've been in here.

I'm going to head to the markets to see what I can find later. And maybe draw on some inspiration for my manga too.

You're writing a manga? What is it about?

The storyline is in development but I'm thinking it's going to be about an International Team of Magical Girl Superheroes fighting an Alien Menace that has been asleep since the Ice Age called the Varboss.

[Cause making a tribute to her co-superheroes is something Yayoi can do.]

And then set it here in a world similar to this one.

I hope this team gets along and does well. [Or at least better than she was able to do back home]

So will there be pokemon in it too? Or does this take place in a world without pokemon?

There's some rocky starts, Black will be at odds with Pink, but Red will smooth it over at first. And Blue will have personal problems that keeps her from joining fully.

They're all trainers from the various regions, so yes they'll have Pokemon matching their elements.

I'm sorry. It really does sound interesting, and I look forward to reading it. It's just...I have uhm...acquaintances that have similar color schemes. And I thought of them just now.

I noticed it's a running trend in other worlds. I used to be a active superheroine as well. It's been, gosh, at least 10 years since the last time I transformed?

And then I started drawing manga professionally.

Oh my! That is a long time. Before I got here, I transformed and fought daily. I actually wound up here from the middle of the fight. [No that fight was over, Mami. You lost.]

Several ghastly, misdreavus and a haunter.

Nothing higher level than 30 though.

Is there a reason why there are so many in that one town?

Lavender Town is a historic area with a lot of buried Pokemon and humans here. It's a resting place for a lot of Kanto people. And I guess Ghost types are drawn to it.

Do you know if anyone has ever seen any human ghosts. Like not connected to pokemon?

I heard a rumor that some Ghost Pokemon are actually humans who passed away. But Mimikyu doesn't seem to harbor that feel to him.

But as for ghost-ghosts, I don't know. I haven't seen any but I'd love to find them.

Lavender Town's great! I was just there. You should check out the Pokemon shelters-- they're always looking for volunteers to cheer up the orphans.

I may do that. I can't volunteer the whole time I'm around but a visit with my team might cheer up the orphans.

It's really too bad I can't adopt, I've got my hands full with 6 already.

I know what you mean. I did end up adopting, but that was more because I caught him too, and well... It was a special case! But I only have a few Pokemon, because I want to make sure they all feel like I love them, you know?

Anyways, what kind of story are you writing? And drawing?

I keep my team small, mostly because it's what I'm used to. I have a friend circle, it's pretty huge but there's a lot of Pokemon I simply don't have the resources to care for.

It's a magical girl superhero story, set on an international level. I'm thinking of setting it here in this world.

Yeah, like the really big ones! I don't battle trainers so I really don't make much money... I don't know how people feed huge Pokemon like Arcanine and Gyarados!

Or those who pick up a Snorlax for example. 1000 tons of food? No thanks.

Cute kind, with edging into serious when big boss battles flings around.

[Elsa smiles softly, thinking back to her time there. It really was peaceful and respectful- that's her favorite part about it. It was very calming.]

If you're interested, you should visit the Pokemon House. I adopted a Cubone from there!

I'm planning on visiting, even though I can't adopt. Six is enough of a handful, with the kids being all rambunctious.

But Lavender Town is really quite amazing.

I travel too much to carry a full team. And I don't think they like the storage boxes either. So it works our in our favor.

It sounds like it! It took me a long time to feel comfortable putting anyone in the PC, but... I still don't like it. [Except when she put Eostre in the box. That had benefited everyone honestly.]

What other places in Lavender do you plan on visiting?

I wish there was a Pokemon Ranch, other than just the Daycare. That way, people wouldn't have to use the PC Boxes.

I plan on visiting the markets obviously, but also the tower to pay my respects.
