Oh good, even the concept of time has betrayed poor Clarissa now.

[ She sighs. ]

I guess there are worse old video games to get stuck in.

....it kind of betrayed all of us. But you get out. I know that much.

[Alex has a Spiritomb, which is a bunch of spirits sealed in a rock. Because apparently this place has a sick sense of humour and they .....think she's just like them due to ....well canon. Therefore they're protective of her since she's one of them. She's only just found this info out. It's slightly disturbing.]

Yeah. It's a pretty nice place. Better then being trapped on ....the island we seem to be back on.

[Aka: why Alex was slightly freaking out when she realized where she was.]

And here I thought I could finally go home again.

[ Frowns, looking around. ]

Alright, so assuming what you just said was true and we're not hallucinating the ghost anchor, why does it look like we're back on the island if we're in a Pokemon game?

That....I'm not sure. I've only been here for a month but I'm pretty sure if you go home, your pokemon stay in the world. And well I've got mine....I think.

[She pulls out two pokeballs.]

Just let me check.

[And she'll let two out. One is the Spiritomb which you know, is even creepier somehow. And the other is a Taillow, with a very bright red marking.]

Oh hey, Clarissa meet your namesake.

[The Taillow flies up to look at Clarissa as Alex checks on the Sunken and puts them back in their pokeball.]

[ Blinks. Okay, the island thing can wait. ]

You... named one after me? Before, like... [ Michael? ] Ren?

[ Clarissa kneels down a little to look at the Taillow. ]

Hey there, other Clarissa.

Second pokemon I caught here actually. Not counting my starter. And yeah I named one after Ren, but I had to wait until I found one that fit. His namesake by the way is a tiny little egg pokemon that seems to enjoy running around being a goofball. I'll figure out ones for the others when I catch ones that fit.

[So you know, naming one after Michael, it has to be just right.]

[The Taillow meanwhile looks at Clarissa closely as though examining her.]

They're actually pretty smart. All the pokemon I mean. Told my team all about you guys.

[Clarissa the Taillow seems to approves and flies up to sit on Clarissa's shoulder.]

Figures she'd like you. I think she puts up with me. She's tough though, dove at my head the first time I came across her, then decided to come with me anyway.

[Alex is smiling though. What can she say, she likes the bird. And the Taillow is slowly getting used to her and the rest of the team.]

[ She smiles just a little at the Taillow. ]

[Well she hoped she wouldn't be offended if she found out. Though honestly, Alex figured she'd never get the chance to find out.]

Well hopefully this path leads back because I for one am utterly sick of being on this island.
