So she was brought here from an earlier time? How strange… but it would be like her to be unsatisfied, considering the powerful Eidolons she commanded, even at a very young age.

So were most people from our world, with... the days following Fabul a common period. Though her main issue with Osmose was not his weaker power, so much as his personality.

He's not too bad, merely... overly affectionate and clingy, at times. She did not appreciate his spontaneous displays of crushing happiness.

It sounds like there are a lot of mysteries about this place, and why we're here...

[Kain tries to picture this creature clinging to Rydia, and it's admittedly an amusing thing to imagine. He smirks a little. He'd find it annoying were he in her position, but he wasn't.]

Better her than me. I'm sure she dealt with it as best as she could, even if it was probably overwhelming.

Everything from our presence to the origin of the meat is unexplained. After some time, you learn to ignore the mysteries that do not currently and actively affect you.

She became used to it, over time. Then she disappeared, and poor Osmose had to get used to me instead.

I suppose on a daily basis, you've got to be more concerned with things like survival. I understand. That and it's different when you're here all the time...

Indeed. Many aspects of this world that were once confusing have become... routine. Barely worthy of a mention, beyond the initial explanation for new arrivals.

He's since become a beloved member of my team, though he still misses her deeply.

You've gotten used to it all then have you? Do you think you could ever get used to home again, if you were to return someday?

[It seems almost like after long enough, it would be strange, re-adjusting.]

Who knows, perhaps she'll return again someday... though it doesn't seem to be something anyone can control.
