[Sasha isn't too fond of reading so while she skimmed the booklet text for the clues, she's found better use of it as a makeshift hat for her Togepi that's perched on the edge of her desk. Reading is fundamental... for fashion!]

Does anybody want to team up for this scavenger hunt thing? I know how to hunt and track things really well. Back home, that's all I did! Well, it was for animals so we could have food and clothing and stuff we needed to live, but I think tracking people down can't be too different from tracking a doe. I don't think we'd need any traps for them either. It'll be easy!

[And fun. Who doesn't like fun?]

Anyway, if anybody wants help, I'm in Blackthorn right now so we can start there and work our way around. Oh, and if nobody wants their SNACK, [Can you hear those capital letters? She's practically voicing them.] don't throw it away! I'll eat it!

Apparently like a day away from some sort of weirdly named farm?

After the creepy weekend, I got dropped on the other side of the map so I've been making my way back and stopping in all the cities I haven't been to yet. Just got Ecruteak, Mahogany and Blackthorn left and then I'll have made it to every city in this region.

[Sasha scrambles for the gear and begins flipping through it for the map. She mumbles something like "The Moo Moo Farm" and then starts grinning because hoo boy she has a great idea.]

If you go back to Olivine, I can get there via the warp things and meet you? Then it wouldn't take so long to meet up and we can start hunting from there instead of Blackthorn.

Does the farm have a warp thing? Because if they don't, it'll take me another six days to get back to Olivine versus the four it would take me to get to Ecruteak.

But it's food. And it's not like it's made of poisoned berries. I ate mine and I haven't gotten sick yet!

Unless it's like a bear or something and you're trying to kill it first, but you're out of arrows and you don't have a gun. That's when you should be embarrassed for not being prepared enough.

It's totally okay! It's not a contest so if more people want to come along, that's fine! More eyes mean more chances of finding what we need.

...If most of these people are anything like Celadon's representative, you'll need a detailed city map and great knowledge of local opening hours more than any trap. A good relationship with your neighbors will help, too.

Well, I have a map on the gear. I don't really have many neighbors up here in Blackthorn, but I mean... we just can ask nicely and get information from people in the area anyway, right?

In theory yes, but some of these people... Well. Let's simply say I've been living in Celadon for years, asked all of my neighbors and acquaintances, and received twenty different answers. None of them were exact, for the record.

[In their defense, the path through the third hedge to reach the alley that led to the right street was particularly well hidden.]

That's when knowing how to track game comes in handy, I think. If I can't depend on information to be right, I'll just use what I know to find people!

Well, of course not. [She rolls her eyes but then starts giggling.] Animals can't talk first of all!

[Kazuki flies his Oricorio to Blackthorn. It takes a couple of hours, but damn does it beat taking ferries, and then trains, and then more time on foot... HM 02 is the best thing ever invented. Now where exactly would Sasha be?]

[Hey, signalling works too! The Pokemon Center was where he was going to try first anyways. He touches down, and Azuma settles on his shoulder, looking a little prissy. All that flying put his feathers out of place.]
