Sun, sand, and the pearly white of surf crashing on the shore...what could be better than that when summer is just around the corner? It's hot enough to enjoy all of the fun, wonderful activities that Olivine City has to offer, and these three young ladies are taking full advantage of it. You're likely to find any of them somewhere in the city or the nearby locations (no more than half a day out from the city), but the beach is ultimately the place to be. Feel like joining in on this party? You won't be disappointed!

Beeeeeach.
How long had it been since Jane had properly gone to the beach during beach season? The Prom doesn't count, since it was out on the Sevii Islands - she still remembers fondly when their household was more full and they first came out here...it's a bittersweet memory, knowing that she won't stroll down the shore and happen upon John to prank him or anything. But, you know, you have to keep living wherever you end up, and part of living is having fun.
Jane can be found down where the waves slowly creep up the shore after their initial crash in a bathing suit, carefully picking up shell bits and giving them to Dinah, who happily takes them in a red plastic bucket. Sometimes she pauses to look out onto the horizon as a Primarina breeches the waves, twists, and waves in Jane's direction as she dives back into the water.]
Oh my! Excellent form, Madeline! Do be safe out there, alright?
B - Training Montage
[When one plans to challenge a Gym Leader, no matter how high level one's Pokemon team is, there is incredible value in training, especially in the local area. This is why Jane has gone off and up to the Lighthouse in search of the strong trainers that are said to lurk within. There's a full six Pokeballs on her belt, and she seems pretty intent on finding someone to battle...are you nearby or also in the Lighthouse? Feel like taking on a strong team?]

She's strolling along, too, letting the waves wash over her bare feet as she makes her way, purple apron folded over her arms as the wind blows her loose hair behind her.
Elsa happens to overhear Jane calling out to Madeline and she glances out to see Primarina and she gasps audibly.]
Oh my goodness, she's stunning! You must be so proud of her!

Golly, thank you - I couldn't not let her go swimming, you know? And she's gotten a real flair for her jumping lately, so it just kind of works out.
[Dinah, meanwhile, peeks at Elsa with wide eyes before looking into her shell bucket and rummaging around. Hmmmmm...]

Of course! She's definitely a natural. What species is she?
[While she talks, she reaches for her Ninetales' ball, giving it a toss so that Skadi can have a chance as socializing. She appears in a burst of puffy, snow white tails and lets out a soft, contented cry before turning her attention to the others. The Arendelle crown catches the light of the sun and gleams proudly atop her head.]

She's a Primarina. They're the final form of a Pokemon called Popplio - it's a starter Pokemon in a different region, though I think some people here can end up with one too, sometimes. She's both Water and Fairy type.

I've seen Popplio- I never would have expected it to evolve into something so... majestic. I might have to look into getting one!

[With a soft, relieved sound, Dinah finally pulls out a shell - it's surprisingly intact and she gives it to Skadi as a gift. It's a little too blue to properly match her snow white fur, but it's very pretty nonetheless.]

Skadi seems pleased with the gift as well, gently reaching out to grab it with her mouth, before nudging Elsa with it eagerly. Like her trainer, Skadi loves wearing new things and so she can only figure that Skadi must want to don her new shell.]
I'll put a clip on it when we get back to our room! [Elsa takes it from her and places it in her bag as Skadi lets out a happy noise, before moving over to boop Dinah appreciatively.] Your Pokemon is very kind!

[Jane has noticed this as well, and she smiles kindly, giving Dinah's shoulder a nice, friendly pat.]
She tries. Dinah, that was very nice of you - is that what you've been collecting shells for?
[Dinah nods, beaming, and then pulling out another shell and handing it to Elsa.]
Ohoh, gracious me! You eye must be better than mine to find these things!

[She turns her attention back to Jane.]
I'll have to return the favor! I don't have much, but if you ever find yourself at the local Starmiebucks, I'd be happy to make you something delicious!

[Jane blushes slightly, a little sheepish, but Dinah chirps and nods eagerly. She'll take you up on some Poke-friendly Starmiebucks, at least.]
-I mean, there's so many shells around here and it is a beach, there's more than enough to go around for the whole world!

Besides, Dinah picked them out special! All of these shells on the beach, and she chose these. So... they're significant!

Though I do believe I saw you in the contest at the beginning of the year...it's hard to forget a performance like that.

[Hello someone loves being by the ocean. It's a lot like Arendelle, but... better. Less bitter memories. It's comforting without being overwhelming.]
Have you visited the Lighthouse yet? The view from up there is beautiful!

[Even though it's kind of ridiculous that everyone ends up in Goldenrod, it still stands to reason that it's not too lonely when there's so many people around who are also not of this world.]
Oh, I do plan to take a trek up there soon. I heard there's trainers up there, too!

You're right though! They're... goodness, the sailors in that lighthouse are very... hm. My sister would call them "fight-y", which I feel is a pretty accurate description.
