_{[When on video, Wrath is typically seen running loose and wild on the streets of Goldenrod, but today he's in a house. A house that seems empty except for him and various Pokemon that occasionally wander past in the background. He's sitting on the couch in the living room, surrounded by general clutter (empty Swirlix-Pop bags, loose papers, assorted clothing that may or may not belong to him) that shouldn't really surprise anybody who has known him longer than a day. There's some noisy slurping noises from off-screen where his Granbull is licking a hamburger wrapper.]

[And also there's a huge hole in the wall. It's jagged and bits of drywall are sticking out. You can see the yard (and more Pokemon) through it.]

[Wrath does not acknowledge this.]

[Instead, he pulls a Swirlix-pop from his mouth with an audible smack and taps it on his chin thoughtfully, leaving ominous red splotches.]}

Sometimes in life, you have to make choices.

_{[Envy doesn't talk about his problems much to Wrath-- and he's happy here. Happier than he ever was back in their world, where he was 'annoyed' at best and 'maliciously happy (but not truly happy)' at worst. His problems, as far as Wrath can see, seem... gone! Out of sight, out of mind!]

[But his own... yeah, he can still see those.]

Homunculi don't really have families. Just each other.

But Sloth is my mommy, I met her because the fool who made me didn't want me.

And Envy's my brother, because he's the one who found me and told me she didn't, and brought me to the rest.

And Lust, we were actually enemies because she was a traitor. But here there's no one to betray and she likes me now so we're family now too.

[It makes an odd sort of sense. There's no real family for any of the BP units, either. Except for Deckerd and Yuuta. For the Build Team. Duke had Regina. Gunmax had Toudou.]

Is your mother here, as well? You've spoken of the others. But not her.

And... you seem rather all right with being around someone who's betrayed you. Regardless of whether or not her treason continues.

While it's questionable how much of the lesson Wrath actually absorbed in a way he could apply to other situations... he'd reached his peace with Lust quite some time ago, enough that the fact that they were literally trying to kill each other (and she succeeded, if only temporarily) when he'd left their world barely feels relevant anymore.]}

In my experience... those who 'make you useful' will only do so until they cease to have a use for you.

[That is a surprisingly dark tone for him. A surprisingly personal one, too. But that's what everyone thought of ... someone else. Wasn't it?]

I cannot say I've met this "master" of yours. But I can, however, say that I agree. It's good she isn't here.
