[Two days had gone by since she'd woken up in a bed that wasn't familiar, in a house that wasn't warm like the one she shared with Elias, by a woman that wasn't Silver Lady. Two days since she'd gotten bombarded with information by a few people in the small town and set out on the road with the odd little Fae creature that looked like a candle.
It was a lot to take in.
Chise was still expecting to wake up and find this was all some strange dream but by the evening of her second day in this world she had come to the realization that it wasn't. And that she needed help. Information. Anything.
When she finally turns her 'gear on the sun is just starting to set as she sits under a tree along the road, a Litwick settled on her shoulder looking quite pleased with itself as it sways back and forth.]
I don't know where I am or why I'm here. I thought it was just a dream.
[Her expression stays relaxed, neutral really as she says it though the red headed teen glances down and her shoulders sag just a touch.]
If I ask how to get home the answers is going to be there's isn't a way..isn't it? [The Litwick on her shoulder makes a soft cooing noise and reaches out with a small hand to pat her cheek. Chise glances at the creature, watching her only to glance at her 'gear again.] ...Is this some sort of Fae world?

And as much as Pokemon can be small cute and adorable, they're not fairies, at least by my standards.
no subject
[Some tried to be but they could be terrifying in their own right.]
Are there demons here? Monsters?
no subject
[Precure fairies, go figure.]
No demons, and Pokemon is short for Pocket Monsters. So yes, they are monsters, but they're also mostly just Pokemon.
no subject
[Okay now she can't help but just look momentarily confused by that and perhaps a little unsure? Put off?
It's just a little hard to picture.]
So they really are the only ones that can use magic here?
no subject
[Her world was full of adorable.]
Pokemon aren't using magic, it's a biology thing. But yes, they're the only things here that does have some sort of special ability.

*he's admittedly not entirely sure what she means by a 'fae' world, though*
Video
[Was there someone controlling this world?]
Re: Video
With that said, however, time here is independent of that of other worlds, so anyone who's sent back will return to the precise moment they left.
Video
So I won't miss anything...and no one will realize I'm gone?
[The relief is obvious in her voice.]
There has to be some explanation, some magic or science to what brought us all here...

[Boone tilts his head at the question, though.]
Not sure what you mean by a Fae world, though. What's that?
Video
[It's unsettling and it worries her a bit because she has a feeling that Elias is going to worry--she's not aware that time stops back home--but she'll make do.]
The Faerie Kingdom. Tir na nÓg.

[He rubs a hand over his face.]
Well, I'm pretty sure this isn't a Fae world. Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing for you.
no subject
[She says it a bit slower so he can understand it a bit better.]
I'm not sure yet. If it's good or bad being here. I'm worried about everyone in my world..

[He would know, he's one of the few exceptions.]
Could you define what you'd consider a 'Fae world'?
[There had to be someone controlling this world, right?]
The kingdom of Faeries. Fae exist in our world but they have their own realm that exists parallel to ours. It's called Tir na nÓg...
[So many Legendary options, so few opportunities to interrogate them.]
That sounds somewhat like the Feymarch... However, this world is its own, parallel to no other, and its fairies are merely another type of Pokémon.
[This is far more confusing than she realized.]
Strange. So the fairy here can't really hurt us in any way?

And, um...as for “fae”, does that have anything to do with fairies? Because there are Fairy type Pokemon, but there are a lot of other different types, too.
no subject
It does but not..like the fairy type Pokemon. I think the fairy types here are different from the Fae back home, where I come from I mean. Wendy-- [She motions to the Litwick.] --is similar to a Will o' the wisp which are Fae back home but I read in the information that she's a Ghost type?

[Speaking of foxes, Yuuko tilts her ‘gear down towards her lap, where an Alolan Vulpix is curled up asleep.] Come to think of it, there are some Pokemon that are kind of similar to things like fairies or youkai. Salchow here is a Vulpix, but he reminds me a lot of the stories about fox spirits back home.
no subject
Chise, meanwhile, looks happily surprised.]
Yes, just like that.
[She takes in the sight of the Alolan Vulpix, resisting the urge to melt at the sight because oh what a cute little fa--Pokemon.
Hold on.]

[Jane still looks tired from this morning - still looks sad, but she's trying to hide it with a warm smile. It...it's not working, but the smile is sincere, at least.]
I don't know about Fae, that's...fairies, right? But these are Pokemon, and this is a relatively safe place to be.
There is a slight change in her own expression though. A softening as she tilts her head just a bit towards her Litwick.]
Someone told me people stay here for years...I've experienced a lot of strange things but this is...a lot.
[She's already homesick and she's only been here two days.]
Yes. [The Litwick on her shoulder puffs up proudly. See? Safe~ Totally safe!] All places have their dangers though, don't they?
[Why is she the only one left out of their group? Why is it her?]
They do, that's true. But I speak from experience - this world is kind, it's safe, and for however long you're here, there's pleny of kindness to go around. So don't hesitate to ask questions on here if you have them, or talk to other people, alright?
[Is that why you look so sad?
Chise is still wary of all of this, worried that it was some sort of trick by some Fae or even Joseph but..]
I won't.
