[Yuuko's finally made it out of Union Cave, and while she's happy about that, that isn't the reason she's making this video. She waves to the screen before speaking.]

Hi, Yuuko here. So I guess this wouldn't be much of a big deal to those who have been here longer than I have, but one of my Pokemon evolved while I've been traveling! And she seems really excited to show it off, so I just thought I'd make this video.

[Yuuko turns the camera to the right, revealing a Steenee that's standing a short distance behind her.] This is Ina! She was a Bounsweet when I caught her, but now she's a Steenee. [Ina waves to the camera as well, but with a lot more enthusiastic bouncing up and down. She has actual arms now! And longer legs! And no longer has to worry about bird Pokemon trying to eat her! The world is now so full of possibilities!

Yuuko just smiles. Her children Pokemon are growing up so fast...hey, she has actual kids at home, so she really can't help but be reminded of her own daughters.]

So, I guess that's really all I wanted to-- [Yuuko is then interrupted by Ina squeaking excitedly and bouncing around even more, the pigtail-like sepals on her head swinging around wildly as she gets even closer to the screen.]

W-wait--Ina, slow down...! [And it looks like Ina got so excited about evolving that she's knocked the 'gear out of Yuuko's hands and cut off the feed. Whoops.]

Yeah. Wonder why some evolve and some don't. And some evolve twice, too.

[Seems kind of weird to him, but he's not smart enough to figure these things out. Pointy roars in the background, apparently pleased by the talk about him.]

Probably a good thing Pointy won't evolve again, huh. He's already pretty big.

Wow, he really is big... [Yuuko leans closer to get a better look at the Drapion.] What type is he?

He's a Drapion. Poison and Dark types.

[He moves closer to Pointy, giving the pokemon an affectionate pat on the head as he does so. Now the whole screen is filled with Pointy's happy face.]

He looks kinda intimidating, but he's always been really happy. He loves making friends and meeting new people.

That's quite the combination of types... [Yuuko was a little wary when she learned there was a Poison type, but she was relieved to find out that Poison moves don't actually kill anybody.]

Hi, there! Nice to meet you. [This is addressed to Pointy, of course, who she waves at. She didn't think something that looked like a giant purple scorpion could be this friendly.]

[Pointy roars back, a pleased sound.]

If you ever see a smaller looking version of him, that's a Skorupi. Doubt you'll see a Drapion in the wild, though.

[Can wild pokemon get to such a high level? He doesn't know.]

I can't imagine what it would be like to run into a wild one... [At least this one is friendly.]

Most Pokemon you run into while traveling don't seem to be that strong, but maybe there are exceptions.

Gotta be places where they're pretty strong, right? Maybe places where people don't go that often.

[Going to a place full of level 40 pokemon is kind of intimidating, though.]

I'm sure there must be, if there are wild Pokemon that have never been caught. Whoever would go to a place like that must be pretty brave...

Or have pretty strong pokemon themselves. Sounds like it'd be a good place to train higher levelled pokemon.

[And now he's wondering if he could take Pointy to a place like that.]

Hmm, I don't think I'm ready for something like that yet...I really only send my Pokemon out to fight if a local trainer challenges me, or there's a wild Pokemon that won't leave me alone.

Well, there's nobody saying you've gotta train them all the time. I'm just from a place where it was pretty important to be strong. And the pokemon seem to like it, so I keep doing it.

[He wouldn't train them if they didn't like it. It wouldn't feel right.]

That's true...though if any of the Pokemon I end up with don't want to fight, then I wouldn't force them. [She isn't hugely into battling local trainers either, but they're always so determined to prove themselves that in the end she can't say no to them.]
