So, it's summer!

[And Jimmy is clearly dressed for it, in a strapped shirt and jeans cut off at the knees. He's currently sitting under a tree, his male and female Pyroar lying on either side of him. All three look hot and worn out - someone's been training.]

And I don't know about you all, but camping's one of my favorite things to do in summer. Last year, I took a trip out to Mount Mortar, it was a lot of fun! Never did catch a Charmander...

Anyway, where's your favorite places to go camping? What's got the coolest views? The hippest vistas? And neato Pokemon sure don't hurt!

[Not that he really needs any more, but it's always fun to battle really cool Pokemon.]

Haven't explored a lot of this place but camping out in Dark Cave was pretty nice.

[Yeah, alone in a dark cave where it was silent. No noise. Nothing. Peace and tranquillity Snake style. He was a snake, so snake's liked cold, dark caves, right? At least he was away from the rigors of war. No bombs, shells and explosions. Peace.]

Probably not gonna be camping in any caves, I like seeing the stars. But anything worth seeing in the Dark Caves? I haven't checked'em out yet.

I found quite a few decent rock Pokémon within the caves. Caught myself a Geodude whilst camping.

Y'know, I've admittedly only been there once or twice, but I gotta say, the Lake of Rage is gorgeous in the summer.

And there's cabins for rent, tons of great spots to swim... sure the Gyarados thing is a bit scary, but they do rope off the safe spots for people.

Oh yeah? I ain't been there. Why's it called 'lake of rage'? I'm guessing it's something to do with those Gyarados...

Is it cool to take a little kid there?

'Cause of them, yeah. I think the folktale goes that the Gyarados made the lake during a big rampage?

Should be safe, though. Like I said, there's safe swimming areas marked and especially in the summer, you see a lot of people around up there.

That's crazy! Makes a lotta sense, I've seen a Gyarados!

Cool, cool, I'm writing that one down. And I've got a strong main team, just in case.

Yeah, definitely bring your strong ones with you. Even though it's mostly safe, the wild Pokemon up there are pretty tough.

They hold fishing competitions there too, if you're into that.

If you like caves, beaches and Water- or Ice-type Pokémon, there's always the Seafoam Islands. There's not much to do beyond exploring and challenging the Gym, but it's very peaceful and quiet.

...you know, I never been to a real island before. Coney don't count.

Hey, that's what I'm looking for. Get away, do some exploring, enjoy the outdoors.

Just remember to bring a good coat, a flashlight and plenty of batteries. Wouldn't want to find your freezing, lost body the next time I visit.

Hey, it's summer! Ice sounds great! I'll bring cold weather stuff, though.

Between that and a good swimsuit, you're all set! ...Except for dealing with the Zubats, but I'm sure you have a plan for those by now.
