Note to self. When they say Zangoose will attack a Seviper on sight, they do mean on sight. Even if it's yours, already battling something else and you're screaming "no" at it.

[But despite this, he does manages to smile.] But on the bright side... [He flashes his Boulder badge up to the camera.] I got it. Next stop, Mount Moon and then Cerulean.

[A beat.]

No, but seriously, be careful if you're looking to catch a Zangoose. They really do hate Sevipers.

Oh no, I'm not stupid enough to try that stunt. I caught a Zangoose, and she went nuts when she saw a Seviper while I was training her, that's it.

That makes more sense. I thought you meant you caught one and already had the other.

Is there like a reason the two pokemon hate each other? Or is just some weird pokemon thing?

As far as I can tell, it's a mutual hatred going back generations that's pretty much instinct to both Pokemon.

So probably the latter.

Huh. I wonder if there's other pokemon that have that sort of thing.

.....though if that were the case we'd probably get more posts like this, considering how many pokemon people tend to have.

I bet someone tried to have two in one team at some point though....actually I should probably not mention that to Mabel, she might try to make two of them get along.

Also super into animals and relationships. She would totally try to convince a zangoose and a seviper to be friends.

But then again in our world we'd just spent the summer getting into trouble in utterly insane ways so part of that might have just been it happening in Gravity Falls. Everything gets weird there.
