15th Match // Video/Text - Route 11

[Surprise, it's Krieg! But he's not recording. He might not even be aware of the recording. He's standing in a sunny field - shirtless as always - feet braced and arms spread wide and it appears as if he's being swarmed by hundreds of very tiny Cutieflies. And...are his arms and shoulders coated in honey...?]

THIS IS NOT THE CHALLENGE I WAS PROMISED!

[Despite his apparent disappointment, he's also not actively attempting to shoo the Cutieflies away.

He's got to get honey off somehow, probably. Might as well let them do their thing.

The video plays for a few moments longer - long enough for Angel to appear in the frame and approach Krieg. She's smiling, and the sound of her soft laughter is picked up by the recording 'Gear. Once she reaches him, though, the video freezes as the recording pauses. The screen is now displaying what looks like a candid photo, Krieg with his back mostly to the camera and holding both of his Cutiefly-covered hands out for a delightedly smiling Angel so that she can more easily see the tiny 'mons that have swarmed him.

Bright pink text begins to overlay the bottom portion of the still shot, and reads as follows:]

Someone on the network gave my trainer this idea, but it isn't working very well. He was hoping for Beedrills.

For the record, that was a sarcastic comment, not an actual suggestion.

[ He slathered himself in honey. It's what's most logical from the bizarre moving photographs she just observed. She's read about honey attracting various pokemon, but this is a bit... ridiculous. ]

I know there are laws about getting into fights but can humans just fight voluntarily here? Like a boxing match? It seems easier to do than going luchador on a bug swarm.

[Angel is very careful as she reaches out to the Cutieflies, wary of either hurting or startling the bunch. A careful finger sweeps over one head, then another, before retracting slowly.]

You know... [She glances upward, eyes sparkling and smile wide and vibrant.] I think this might be a good look for you, Krieg.

Action!

[If the Cutieflies aren't disturbed by Krieg's disappointed shouting, it seems unlikely that her gentle and careful motions are going to spook them. In any event, the ones exploring his fingers and hands appear to like her attention, and three or four even flutter away from Krieg's hands to flit curiously in front of her face.]

Mmm...[He has some reservations, but if Angel likes it...]...Maybe. But it's too sticky.

[Angel's done her best to be both careful and quiet up until this point. All of that work, however, quickly seems to crumble as the Cutieflys kick up a breeze that tickles her face. She places a hand to her mouth in an attempt to muffle her giggles, but it has little effect.

Thankfully, Angel at her most delighted has nothing on Krieg at his quietest.]

You -- [She inhales sharply through her nose in an attempt to catch her breath.] You could try applying it elsewhere? A piece of clothing solely for them to perch on? Or a stick you can carry around.

He's fine! He was just a little disappointed because he was hoping for a fight instead of a tea party, but he's already over it. :)
