Are Gengar supposed to be able to steal your shadow? Because I think one just did.

And, um, I think he's scared of Nora, my Farfetch'd. He is running away from her and I'm not sure how to stop him so I can get my shadow back.

[Like, for real, he's just watching this Gengar run away from an angry Farfetch'd who won't stop whacking him with her leek if he tries to get out of the shadow. It was better than getting the wits scared out of him earlier that day, though.]

Can you ask your pokemon to get it back from the Gengar?

I've been trying to, but she's not having any of it. She's really mad he's been pranking me all morning.

She's... kind of like a Mom. I'm not sure why she decided to treat me like that, but she's not happy something has disturbed her "child", so to speak.

Either way, from what I've seen so far, Gengar are usually fairly harmless. They like pranks, and being ridiculous, but it'll probably get bored eventually.

Honestly, I forgot about that. [Look, he doesn't keep any of them in Pokeballs so he forgot they existed.] But if I do that, how do I stop Gengar from using my shadow to scare me and others?

Try a less aggressive Pokemon that won't scare it as much.

This might take awhile. I can't tell if they are scared of Gengar or Nora...

Then... I don't know, try having your Farfetch'd attack the Gengar and weaken it enough that you can capture it?

it hasn't gone anywhere or done anything weird, but... have you tried getting her to knock it unconscious? That should do the trick if anything.

I think normal attacks don't work on ghost types, but the act of it is what's making him run away anyway. I'll figure something out, I doubt this will go on forever.

Do you have another Pokemon that could hit it? If all else fails?

I'm not entirely familiar with the ghost-type weakness. Just that normal types don't effect them really. I have an Onix and Deerling though.

That's... weird. Usually ghost types don't fuss too much about normal types due to their immunity.

But I guess a little attitude can go a long way.

Pretty sure it's just the attitude, yes. I'll see about catching him, maybe that will stop them.

At the very least, then you'll have Pokeballs and the PC to deal with.

Just keep in mind that some Pokemon... like to work their way outta their balls.
