Oh okay, holy cow, why do I keep missing all the cool spooky stuff that keeps happening around this place?

I mean, the kids and I went trick or treating this year, but we missed out on all the shenanigans that happened. We didn't get tricked, although we saw the swarms and stuff, but none of my Pokemon brought back anything or went nuts or anything like that.

Aw... I feel left out.

So, what kind of cursed loot did everyone get?

Does candy count as cursed loot? Lute brought home more candy than I ever want to see again and a big rock.

Candy could count as cursed loot, but candy is also good loot. We have a lot of candy at the house, everyone loved the costumes the kids went as.

If you're unloading some, sure. I could use some more. My kids practically live off candy during the holidays. They get enough exercise.

Hmm, while the evil book seems tempting, you didn't read it did you? I think I'll take the laundry since I might be able to find the owner for it. If anything I can donate it to goodwill.

We've got a lot of spare candy, my kids made out like bandits.

I tried, but the last third of every page is illegible, which makes it difficult to follow the plot. Not that I need to, considering Zubathory is obviously responsible for the missing children.

And you've earned all that candy fairly? Why would so many Pokémon bother stealing it, if it's so easy to acquire?

Yeah, I guess just mischief night was a night for mischief. I mean, Pokemon were going nuts for a while, and my kids were just trick or treating all night till almost dawn.

I got a party popper with cat litter inside. And a spell tag. At least one of those items is useful, right?

[Because that party popper? More trouble than it was worth. Connor didn't know what it was going to do, so not only did he scare himself popping it he also got cat litter all over the floor.]

The spell tag is definitely useful. You want to hold onto that. The party popper you can get rid of I think.

I mean, I don't think anyone would begrudge you for getting rid of cat litter.

I've given the spell tag to my Pumpkaboo. She seems pleased with it.

My pokemon were pretty quiet for the most part. Aside from a few being normally excited for Halloween.

My newest pokemon though, brought back a thunder stone. I don't think it's cursed.

Yeah, my kids were pretty upbeat all night. They hit up every single house along the way and got a lot of candy.

Oh? Well, at least that's good. There's a lot of spooky stuff out there and I'm sorry I missed it. I'm really big into the spooky stuff, and I dressed up this year too with my kids. We all went as Precure.

I tend to prefer spooky things when they're fictional at this point but at least here it's not usually as dangerous as it could be.

A theme is always fun. We had various costumes ourselves. I was Edgar Allan Poe. Though I'm not sure how many people knew who that was.

Yeah, I guess so. Growing up I really was into the whole horror scene, so to me, this is a lot tamer than the things I watched as a kid.

Nice, that's a good choice for Halloween. Good job.

Precure are transforming superheroes. Magical girls. We went as the Yes Precure 5. I was Milky Rose.

Anyways I got an Alolan Meowth. And he got me a Thunder Stone.

I have no Dark-Types. So I guess I was left out of the fun.

Aw well, maybe next year they'll make an exception for Thunder-types. Though a Thunder Stone is a good haul.

It is. And it works on Pikachu, which're totally on-brand for me. Even more than most of my mostly rodent team is, even. I mean, they're pretty clearly squirrels.

Yeah. The Kanto way is to evolve Pikachu early, and focus on Raichu powers early. Although there's also a Alolan version who has Psychic Powers, and can be evolved in the Sevii Islands.

Pikachu, well, my Alolan Raichu, she evolved in the late 80s. So she's REALLY fast.

Maybe it was because you don't own any Dark types? I don't have any myself, so my Pokemon didn't bring me any treats-- Though we did have to deal with a flock of Murkrow who were trying to strip my berry bushes clean.

Yeah that's what I'm finding out. I saw a lot of swarms but they steered clear, mostly because Pikachu was lighting out way with her electricity.

My Yunoki-- A Ghost Oricorio-- Wasn't happy at all about a bunch of Flying types ruining his garden, but there wasn't a whole lot he could do. Since Ghost is weak to Dark. Amp sure had fun zapping them out of the sky though. He even got a real battle out of a Honchkrow that was leading them all.
