Hello trainers, I'm afraid I need to ask for a bit of help. Not for me, but for Poochy....

[Rose sighs and turns the camera. What the hell is that thing she points it at? Something that doesn't want to be recorded, that's for sure. All you can see is a lump of bare grayish pink skin and tufts of sad, patchy fur attempting to re-grow. Poorly. There's a very cheap ragged scarf wrapped around it.]

[Yup, that's a poochyena that was depilated. Someone had a very rough Mischief Night, and currently is trying to make himself as small and invisible as possible.]

He's so embarrassed....and cold. He needs sweaters - nice sweaters to make him feel good about himself again. He won't listen to me or the others that it doesn't matter. And it's starting to get cold. I don't have much money yet, but surely some of you wonderful people can spare a warm sweater or two...

I tried making him one but I don't know what sweaters are made out of. Or how to sew.

I saved the scarf I used, though!

Wool! If you shear a Mareep you get wool that you can turn into yarn you can make sweaters with.

[Sasha nods as if she's imparting the most important wisdom of all.]

Also, I can knit him a sweater if you want! I knit all my Pokemon a sweater, even though they can't wear it because we live on the Sevii Islands.

A mareep? Where do I find a mareep?

She actually made this one for me a couple months ago.

W-Well, she's family to me too now. But she's really good at making them. If she doesn't see this I'm sure you can send her a message and she can make something really warm for him. If he has any favorite colors she could probably do that, too.

Friends are just the family we choose for ourselves.

I...don't know. He's only been with us a short while, we don't know him very well yet.

'M maybe special Pokemon clothes? Mostly costumes're on sale, though...

Because it would be like his own fur! Since he doesn't have his own.

You should ask my sister, Mabel. She can make a sweater faster than anyone. She could probably teach you too.

That's not surprising. She knows a lot of people here and she tends to give sweaters as gifts a lot.

She's really good at it too.

She seems like a very wonderful girl.

She must be, with all this praise for her sweaters!

She's pretty great. I'm lucky we're both here. She's my twin, so we're like a team.

What do you mean?

Mean? Oh, well she's my twin sister, so we're not identical twins like my grunkles or anything but we grew up together and we've always looked out for each other. Plus we solve mysteries together and stuff like that.

Grunkles?

[Rose is only more confused.]

What's a grunkle?

Oh yeah, sorry. It's a name for a relative that my family uses. I think we're the only ones. A lot of people have been confused by it.

Anyway. Grunkle is a mix of great and uncle. Grunkle. So our Great Uncle Stan is our grandfathers brother, and we call him Grunkle Stan because it's shorter. His twin brother, Grunkle Ford is actually here in this world.

Oh! I...still don't think I understand, but that's alright. It sounds like you have a very nice family.

Families can be kind of confusing. But yeah, they're pretty great.

[Did somebody say SWEATERS?!

Mabel appears beaming brightly wearing a bright pink sweater with a shooting star on it, a Mareep in her lap and a Flaffy sitting beside her with a knitting basket.]

I can teach you!! I love making sweaters and hats and gloves and all sorts of things and it's super easy and fun!

[Let her teach you please please please!]

And in the meantime I can make some for Poochy that way he's warm until you learn how to do it!

There you are! I've heard so much about your sweaters!

That would all be perfect, just perfect!

[Mabel's smile gets even bigger and she may blush just a little bit because gosh people talking about her sweaters!!!]

What sort of colors do you want! I can make sweaters in any colors you guys would like!!

And then once I have them all done we can arrange a meet-up so I can give them to you and teach you to make them!

Oh! I don't know...I don't know what colors he likes yet...

Oh could you? Poochy doesn't seem to like the cold either.

We'd appreciate it so much.

Yeah, it's no problem.

[Pointy shoves his face in the camera for a moment, seeing that Boone is talking to someone. Then he steps back. He has a sweater on too, with a long neck to it. Goldenrod is a great place for buying clothes, and Boone was surprised to find a sweater that could fit a Drapion perfectly.]

I'll send it over as soon as I can. Where are you?

I'm in Violet Town! I think I may be here for a while... I need to find a job!

Oh, doesn't your Pokemon look dashing!

[Pointy puffs himself up proudly at the compliment, and Boone nods.]

Yeah, he does. He picked that sweater out himself.

[It's a bright yellow one, with a Pikachu on it wearing a Santa hat. A little early for Christmas, but that's what Pointy wanted so he got it.]
