So what IS Christmas like here? Back home, it's either something for kids or a dating a holiday, so single people are usually just mopey, but I don't think that's really the case here, is it?

Oh, and sometimes mysterious gifts show up.
text;
Also... What's in the gifts, usually?
text;
And I'm not sure what this year will bring, if anything, but last year, everybody received something from home. No matter where you were, when you woke up, there was something for you. I received my grandfather's book, my friends received their gear.
text;
But Goldenrod... I should be able to use transporter to Saffron and the train to Goldenrod, right?
Text;
Indeed. It's well worth the trip. There might be a similar market in the Kanto region, but I've never celebrated Christmas while there so I can't be too sure there.

[Much like not knowing what Christmas is, Sasha isn't familiar with the concept of religious holidays. She still has a lot to learn.]
Wait, we get to eat a ton of food again? Why do we have so many food holidays now?
[Not that she's complaining. In fact, Sasha thinks it couldn't hurt to have a few more holidays that revolve around eating.]

Because food is essential when a large group of people get together and festivities invite people to get a lot of it, is my guess.

[Ryner I don't think that's what he means.]

I suppose you're not much of a holiday person, then?

That being said, I've actually never heard of Christmas being a couples' sort of holiday before.

But that's interesting. Guess I might end up splurging on some stuff for mine too.

If yours are anything like mine... Well, I can tell they're working on a surprise. But I don't know what it is, so they're doing a good job.

Huh. I'll have to keep an eye out, then.
