[The video isn't immediately focused on Connor today, instead it's focused on a Swanna. Said Swanna is in the process of sneaking up behind Hank, wings flared, and she pecks at his ankles (earning an "ow, what the fuck!") before realising the camera is on her. Then she hides her face behind a wing, demure as anything.]

Everyone saw that, you know.

[The camera shifts closer to her, and she waddles off to hide. Almost as soon as the focus is off her? There's another swear from Hank, followed by a deep sigh.]

Well, I was hoping being seen by everyone would make her stop. She's quite shy usually. Does anyone with a Swanna have this problem? Hank doesn't like birds as it is, I don't want to have to keep her in her ball all of the time just to stop her from doing this. Bribing her with food isn't working.

And I suppose I'll ask while I'm here, does anyone have any recommendations for dark or psychic type pokemon? I have a Kadabra, a Houndoom and an Alolan Meowth. And if anyone has a Carvanha or Lileep that they wouldn't mind breeding, I'd like to know.

[Connor likes to just chase after certain pokemon to train up sometimes.]

You should get an Absol. They're really great. They're a dark type and mine's a really good fighter.

[Connor stops to write down "Absol" on a scrap of paper.]

Do you know where I could find one? Oh, and I have something for you. I've been training a Butterfree for you. I was hoping it would help you overcome your fear of bug pokemon a little. She's very sweet.

I saw some wild ones in Blackthorn City when I was there.

[Her's had been a gift.]

[Butterfly pokemon are honestly the part thing to start her on.]

Yes, her name is Wiggles. She has all of her learned moves, so I can send her over whenever you feel you're ready for her.

[He gets up from the desk he's sitting at briefly to go get the pokeball the Butterfree is in, and lets her out. She flutters by the camera, letting out a "freee!"]

How would you feel about meeting her?

[Well there's no screams of terror so we're on the right path. Newt tilts her head and looks at the pokemon.]

Wow, she really does look like a butterfly. I've always wanted to see a real one.

[Sad thing is she probably would have loved bug pokemon if she'd gotten here before the whole ...alien stuff. She waves slightly at the pokemon.]

I'd like to meet her.

You've never seen a butterfly before?

[Connor feels like Newt probably hasn't seen a lot of things, and he understands somewhat because he's only been alive for several months now. He hasn't seen much either.]

Well, I think she's ready to meet you, too. Where should I send her?

Not a real one. Just pictures. We didn't have any real animals at the colony. Or plants, or nature. Just rocks and it was dark a lot.

[And hidden alien ships. Newt thinks it over for a moment. What island is she one actually?]

I'm on the Sevvii islands, Island 4. I'm staying with some friends.

It must be nice being here, then.

[Pokemon world is very pleasant, so it must have been a breath of fresh air for Newt.]

I'll send the Butterfree over to the pokemon center. Let me know when you have her.

It is. I really like trees. Snow is neat too but I think I like it when it's warmer better.

[It's amazing. Also the whole no one can die thing is very important.]

[He gets up to put the Butterfree away, and starts heading to the pokemon center. He keeps the camera on, though.]

I like it here a lot. There's so much to explore, so many new pokemon to discover. Most importantly, I'm free. Free to go where I like, and to think for myself.

[He's obviously passionate about this place, even though he's only been here a few months.]

And you get to go outside more.

[This place is pretty awesome.]

You couldn't do that before?

[Newt's knowledge of androids are, Bishop was one and is great. That's....kinda all.]

No, I couldn't. Back where I'm from, androids don't have the same rights as people. We aren't designed to think for ourselves or have feelings, we're designed to do as we're told. Those of us who develop emotions and free will are considered to be malfunctioning.

[He tries to keep it simple, so Newt can better understand.]

...I mean feelings are sometimes really bad and I wish I could make mine stop sometimes. But if you get them, you shouldn't be in trouble.

What happens if an android does get those things?

Well, before I learned to think for myself, I was designed to look for those androids. They would be sent back to the people who made us, to be taken apart and analysed. I soon realised that was wrong, however, and decided to help the androids. I just had to break free of my programming first, which wasn't easy to do.

....does that mean someone would go after you though?

Yes, and they did. They created another Connor to hunt me down.

[A strangely sadistic Connor, actually. He can't remember ever being like that before he became deviant, so he's not sure why this Connor was so different.]

Luckily I managed to escape, but sadly they can just keep creating more Connors to find me. That's part of why I'm happy to be here. Nobody is chasing me down.

[And Hank isn't in any danger from it, either.]

...and if anyone shows up here and tries to hurt you. I'll set them on fire.

[Look, Newt has a plan if Burke shows up. That plan may have been planned while around Krieg....]

[Even if that's probably not the kind of thing you encourage a kid to do. He reaches the PokeCenter and heads inside, and sets about transferring the Butterfree to Newt.]

...Okay, she should be waiting for you at your nearest PokeCenter.

[Eh, even if it wasn't for Krieg and her trauma. The last people who heavily influenced her were a group of marines and Ripley. Whose solutions were blow it up, blow it all up. Also kill Burke.]

[She nods, because she loves her pokemon so she takes a new member to the team/family seriously.]

Thank you. ...And they're named Wiggles?

[Just to make sure she doesn't get it wrong.]

Yes, her name is Wiggles. It seemed more suitable when she was still a Caterpie.

[He hopes Newt likes the Butterfree. She's very friendly, so hopefully Newt won't mind that she's a bug Pokemon.]

I like it.

[They will most likely be okay. It doesn't look very much like a stage in the xenomorph cycle like the middle evolution would have. So it should be a good starting point.]
