Wingulls wheel and dive in the salty springtime air of Olivine City's harbor, as white as the gleaming sides of the ship moored directly below. The S.S. Aqua isn't an infrequent visitor in the slightest, but this time it's for a very special occasion! Colorful banners stream from the sides, each one proudly declaring the word PROM in glittery font.

The boarding starts around noon on Friday, and the sight of the huge ship alone is enough to get many people and Pokemon swept up in the party atmosphere. The captain is even there when the ramp is rolled out, wanting to welcome each otherworlder onto the boat personally with a hearty handshake and (mentioning he's a renowned 'people reader'), a recommendation on what part of the cruise he thinks they'll like best based solely on a glance. Weirdly enough, guests might find that he's usually right!

Unsurprisingly, it takes a good long while for everyone to get on board and accounted for, which leaves each guest with plenty of time to find their rooms, dump their luggage, let their Pokemon out to stretch their legs a little, and finally head back to the deck to wave goodbye to the harbor as the SS Aqua heads out onto the open water.

While leaving my Dratini and Pyukumuku to socialize, I found that they had somehow laid eight eggs in my absence. Although initially perturbed by this, I decided to take this opportunity and offer these eggs to the general public. In addition to Pyukumuku and Dratini eggs, I am offering other Pokémon eggs, such as Solosis, Drifloon, Squirtle, and Inkay.

I forgot to mention that there may be a chance of either the Dratini or Pyukumuku to be shiny.

I will not be charging for these for now. You are free to request for as many or as few as you would like, within reasonable limits. If you have any questions, please ask.

[The feed opens with a Clefable, seen from the right. She pays no attention to the Pokégear; her eyes are fixed on the easel before her, on the brush delicately spreading its colors upon the canvas, with the occasional glance at the source of her inspiration. Said muse is offscreen at first, but Cecil quickly moves the camera to reveal it.

At the center of the tableau, a Gardevoir stands, triumphant, facing the painter. Her left arm bears an Aegislash, lowered and covered in red stains. Her right lifts a Zoroark's head, dripping red and lifeless, perfect except for the tell-tale expression of a giggling Ditto. Behind her stands a Rapidash, proud and dignified even with wobbly papier-mâché wings attached to her back. Finally, at her feet, the headless body of a Zoroark. Either the body's positioning was carefully arranged to hide its head, or that Illusion ability is coming in handy. Those traces of red all over the fur, however, are undoubtedly very real.

That's ketchup, not blood. Probably.

The whole composition has an elegantly classical feel to it, really, but Cecil sadly does not have the necessary art background to appreciate it properly.]

...Should I now worry about the madness that sometimes afflicts artists, or is it already too late?

[He sounds very tired and done with this.]

Jan 11th - Video

[Hank's at a pretty scuffed-up looking desk, like it probably was once nice before it went through three owners before him, but it's not hotel room material. It's very much a "someone had to find the Pokemon version of Craigslist and make the most of it" desk. He moves around some papers and folders of clippings he's talking, acting a little fidgety.]

I've got some questions to specifically ask some of the gym leaders and I might need a ride eventually to see a few of 'em. They're not exactly the kind of people you can hit up with social media. Then I gotta run by the Pokecenter and talk to a Jenny. I probably wouldn't be spending more than an hour.

I heard some of the leaders are pretty damn aggressive, too. [He counts out names on his fingers as he's thinking through the ones he intends to talk to.] The ones I'm needing to speak with are Sabrina, Brock, Lt. Surge, [there's a moment of quiet mental exasperation at being in a place where someone who is not in the W.W.E can go by Lt. Surge] and I think Jasmine and Blaine and Janine.

I know a few of you have met all of them, which ones would be the most agreeable to questioning without having to battle them? I know they've got busy schedules and some of them can only make time for the badge battles, not for a sit-down. I'll probably have to do it in a few cases but I'd like to hit up the easy ones first. I just got some vague reputation to go by. I'd like some firsthand accounts.

I uh... also, I guess I'll be setting up residence in Goldenrod. We just picked out a house here. That'll be our new base of operations. [So hopefully he doesn't fuck this up like he manages to fuck so many other important things up. And it's that lingering worry that's helping that uneasy look along. At least the Swanna isn't trying to war with his damn ankles anymore.]

[The video isn't immediately focused on Connor today, instead it's focused on a Swanna. Said Swanna is in the process of sneaking up behind Hank, wings flared, and she pecks at his ankles (earning an "ow, what the fuck!") before realising the camera is on her. Then she hides her face behind a wing, demure as anything.]

Everyone saw that, you know.

[The camera shifts closer to her, and she waddles off to hide. Almost as soon as the focus is off her? There's another swear from Hank, followed by a deep sigh.]

Well, I was hoping being seen by everyone would make her stop. She's quite shy usually. Does anyone with a Swanna have this problem? Hank doesn't like birds as it is, I don't want to have to keep her in her ball all of the time just to stop her from doing this. Bribing her with food isn't working.

And I suppose I'll ask while I'm here, does anyone have any recommendations for dark or psychic type pokemon? I have a Kadabra, a Houndoom and an Alolan Meowth. And if anyone has a Carvanha or Lileep that they wouldn't mind breeding, I'd like to know.

[The pokegear is focusing on a large number of eggs all sorted into groups, with a very proud Drapion standing guard over one batch. Connor sounds pleased with this development when he speaks. After all, this is Hank's first batch of eggs. It's a good reason to be excited.]

Hello everyone. As you can see, our pokemon have left us some eggs. We have two Skorupi, three Tentacool, five Shinx, one Growlithe and five Litten looking for homes. Don't worry, Pointy may seem protective over his eggs but I'm sure he'll let them go to good trainers.

[There's something mumbled off-camera, a voice some may recognise as Boone's. He's only here because he let Hank borrow the Drapion for breeding purposes. And despite having no clue how a Tentacruel and a Drapion would breed, they've somehow done it. Nobody is going to bother looking into how, either. Some things are better left a mystery.]

[It's late evening when the video appears on the network and whoever's behind the 'gear is trying to stifle giggles as they focus the camera on a bench underneath a streetlight. A shiny Zubat is settled on the bench munching on berries that are being brought to it by a much larger Golbat who practically has hearts in his eyes as he waddles up to the bench and drops more berries before the lovely lady.

The Zubat inspects the new offerings and that's when the camera person finally speaks.]

Will she accept his tokens of affection? So far she's been so coy! So picky!

[It comes out in a low whisper though anyone familiar enough with her will know that it's Mabel.]

I've been watching this love story unfold for the past two days and it's been magical!

[The Zubat let's out a happy squeak and takes a bite out of one of the berries which prompts the Golbat to do a little jig in excitement. The camera goes a bit crazy for a second as Mabel let's out an excited squeal, fumbling to turn it around and press her face right up into it now.]

Guys guys GUYS DID YOU SEE THAT?! IT WAS SO CUTE!!!! EDGAR AND BELLA ARE SO CUTE I'M GONNA DIE YOU GUYS!

[As promised, Pidge is putting up pictures of the little road trip that she, Lance, and Hunk have embarked on. It's a later update than she'd initially planned it to be, but better late than never, right? And in the interest of getting the news out to all of their friends (and Lance's friends, she doesn't even know who else that might include), Pidge makes them all available to the public.

Found a pumpkitty.

[It's a very abrupt, matter-of-fact way to start a post, but it's true! Rami, making his unbeknownst debut on the network, seems to have made himself comfortable near the outskirts of Mahogany Town with a small, sweet little Pumpkaboo. It must be how he sparkles and their shared Ghost typing, for he puffs out his chest and makes a great show of his moves while the Pumpkaboo laughs and bobs in amusement. Thida turns the 'gear back to her.]

There's a lot? But this one's the best. 'Cause it's a friend.

[Indeed, there does...seem to be a lot of Pumpkaboo in the background, now that you look. It's almost like Thida wandered into a whole patch of them! A particularly large one lumbers around in the way back, and Thida points towards it.]

He's not, he's mean. Like...th'not great pumpkitty. We saved th'little pumpkitty from teasin', and now we're friends! Did you guys make friends? Make frieeeends! Pumpkitties're good!

[The video is clearly not being used by a human. It's too close to the ground, and a quick camera check to see that it's working will show a Gothita. Namely, Moon Child, belonging to one Dipper Pines. Who you can now see as the hidden camera is now pointing back to show....a room with drawn curtains?

Well there's Dipper with a map of the city on the wall covered in pins, lines drawn with markers and is he wearing an over sized trench coat and hat? Apparently yes. And he's addressing a group of pokemon in front of him. Notably an Alolan Vulpix and a Phantump.]

Okay you all know the plan. Blizzard. You'll provide cover if things get too....heated. Crafty, I've devised the most likely movements of the competition based on these equations.

[A sheet is pulled off a white board and dear lord how much math is on that? It's....a lot? What is all this planning for?]

Study them and make sure you know they by heart. Now then, I have disguises so that even if we are spotted, we'll be able to have plausible deniability.

[Well that sure sounds ...bad. Dipper meanwhile seems pleased.]

All we have to do is follow this simple 28 step plan I've created and this will all work out fine Nothing will stop us from purchasing the latest ABBRA album....nothing!

[And insert evil? (wait is this even evil?) laughter and wait Moon Child is on the move because she's been spotted. The camera goes shaky as the pokemon tries to hide it, fails and then hands it over.]

What are you doing? You know this is secret....what do you mean the video is still going?

[Dipper then glances down at the camera.]

Uh....You saw nothing! Um....this isn't Dipper it's....

[He turns the camera away and then back and oh dear, are those fake glasses with the nose piece. Yup.]

His evil twin...other twin...wait no, um, clone! Who likes pop music, so, totally not him ...um...yeah-

[100% sold it. Anyway the video cuts short there as it's quickly turned off. YOU SAW NOTHING.]

[Hey there, Victory Road. It's time for a ☆Staryutube☆ video.

The video opens with a very generic looking kitchen counter. There are a few items - a couple bowls, a pan by the stove, a some jello. It's a decently long video, going through cooking the jello down into liquid, dying it red, making more jello to mix in with it, shaping it, the whole process.

Whoever's filming doesn't talk and doesn't show their face. But when it's finished, they've clearly made a working, usable red kitchen knife out of jello. What fresh hell is this.

The video description reads:]

[Don't mind Keith just cleaning up the entire kitchen. He's getting the more obvious things (the jello packets) cleaned up first before anyone sees, but there was obviously a lot going on in the kitchen that he's cleaning up.]
