IT'S HER. YA DEATHMOM BOTAN.
For once, though, she's not in her shop--wow, she actually gets out once in a while?--Botan appears to have situated herself in Goldenrod's park to let her Phantump kids float around and play. Not just her Phantump, of course, her Mimikyu is sat right next to her on the bench. Emiko, as usual, is very proud of herself for how she put her disguise together--not only is there a cute red bow attached to the ear, she managed to sew heart shapes onto the cheeks this time!]
Well, look at this, another Valentine's Day is coming upon us! As usual, of course I'll offer my services of making sweets should anyone need it, just put in the order, stop by the shop, whatever's most convenient. I know it's probably overwhelming, especially if it's the first time for a lot of you.
[What she's not saying, of course, is that it's her first time actually having someone on this day, too.]
Anybody that's just gotten here and is thinking "why should I be thinking about Valentines at a time like this?" you probably shouldn't, but not to worry! Help is always around the corner--unless it's a Cofagrigus, then that's probably trouble as opposed to help.

[That was probably the bluntest statement one could ever receive from a woman wearing pink.]
But it's not about romance when you think about it--your "Valentine" can be a friend, your Pokemon, or even you! Something or someone you love, you know? Or you can see it as "expensive chocolate day but chocolate will be marked down the next day" day.

Honestly, I'd never even heard the term valentine before I showed up here. I'm pretty sure it's not a holiday on Pandora.

Yup, I know Krieg. He's a friend and a teammate of mine from back home. I've been travelling with him since I got here.
The name's Maya. I'm guessing you're a friend of his?

[What she meant to say was "I know Krieg and I like him and he's aware that I'm friendly" but that's just how Botan is.]
He gets cupcakes from me every holiday for the special people in his life, so I'm betting that there's going to be an even bigger order this year! I'm glad to see he's got even more of his friends around, he's such a nice man.

He's a good guy. I'm glad to hear he has friends here. The place is...slowly growing on me. The lack of powers will be a sore spot for a while though.

And the whole Krieg was gone and we had no idea, isn't something I was happy to hear about.
But....he seems to be doing well here. So I'm glad for that.

But then I've been here for about five years now, from my understanding if someone comes here after you've been "missing" in your own view they would be like, "but I just saw you!" It's quite strange how that works out.

Yeah, when I got here I had just talked to Krieg the day before so it was kind of hard to believe at first that he'd been here for so long. I got that explained pretty quickly but it was confusing at first.
