[Today's home video features Adorababy the Sylveon and an unknown Eevee. 'Dora is sitting on his haunches, front paws and back toes all lined up in a neat little row. He looks mildly confused (but not unhappy) as the Eevee circles around him, headbutting him and rubbing against him like a fluffy kitten. This adorable video is accompanied at first only by the adoring "Veeee!"s enunciated by the worshiping Eevee, but after about twenty seconds of cuteness overload, the cameraman speaks up.]

Is anybody missing a puppycat?

[Whaddup, it's ya boi, Krieg. He sounds just as confused as 'Dora looks. The Eevee is oblivious to all of the confusion it's causing, completely and utterly absorbed as it is in its worshipful adulations.]

It followed us home from Goldenrod and won't go away.

[That gets her to raise an eyebrow. She's vaguely inclined to agree since, well, Krieg is Krieg. But at the same time, even though she herself doesn't know him as well as some of the others, Shiro trusts him. And honestly, that's enough for her to drop a lot of her personal biases. Which means that he's clearly doing the same self-deprecating shit that Shiro does.] I think it disagrees with you on that. [And then she lets that shit go with another shrug.] Well, I'll be around if you do. I'm sure you know how to find me. [Since... Yes, she's definitely still spending most of her time in the basement on the island.]

[He's honestly a lot less self-deprecating than Shiro, he just doesn't have a lot of faith in his ability to take care of all his pokemon like they deserve.]

[Adorababy trills again. He's also right!!!

Though the combination of 'Dora's insistent vocalizations and Pidge's offer have clearly cheered him up.]

[Okay, she can't really help it; she smiles a little upon hearing that ever so slight shift in his tone. Miracle of miracles, she's helped someone feel better.]

No problem.

In the meantime, you should probably call it something other than "Puppycat."

[Pidge snorts at that; she keeps forgetting that that's what Krieg calls Shiro.] So if you already gave that little guy a nickname, then doesn't that mean you're planning on keeping it?
