[Today's home video features Adorababy the Sylveon and an unknown Eevee. 'Dora is sitting on his haunches, front paws and back toes all lined up in a neat little row. He looks mildly confused (but not unhappy) as the Eevee circles around him, headbutting him and rubbing against him like a fluffy kitten. This adorable video is accompanied at first only by the adoring "Veeee!"s enunciated by the worshiping Eevee, but after about twenty seconds of cuteness overload, the cameraman speaks up.]

Is anybody missing a puppycat?

[Whaddup, it's ya boi, Krieg. He sounds just as confused as 'Dora looks. The Eevee is oblivious to all of the confusion it's causing, completely and utterly absorbed as it is in its worshipful adulations.]

It followed us home from Goldenrod and won't go away.

You could try catching it with a pokeball. If it does belong to someone, the pokeball should fail to work.

[And if it doesn't fail, well, it looks like this Eevee has already decided it is going to stay with Krieg anyway.]

[Armin you've seen his multitudes. This Eevee plus the egg would make twenty. That is fourteen more than he feels comfortable taking care of. 8(]

I don't think you need to worry about being able to take care of it. You do a good job of that.

Well, you do get Eevee in and around Goldenrod. Not as much as other types, but they're around. It could just be a stray or a feral that likes you.

Are there any sources of identification? A collar or something of the sort?

[Obviously Harald can see the Eevee through the video screen, but it feels worth asking just in case there's something he missed.]

Does it respond as easily to 'Eevee' as most other Pokémon do to their own names? If not, then it may already have a nickname; and while not having one isn't a sure sign that it's wild, it likely belongs to someone if it does. Or maybe it'll just be a fickle thing. It's hard to tell.

[He is still nonplussed by this whole situation, and just a little bit grumpy at the thought of adding another 'mon to his already too-big collection.]

[She wonders if some of the other pokemon have ever tried that then shakes her head slightly. Looking over to the new pokemon.]

Well, we could always take it to a nearby center and ask if anyone's lost one. Just to double check.

[There's a quiet but enthusiastic "Bwee!", and the camera feed wobbles a bit as one very mellow Eevee affectionately headbutts Krieg's hand.

It's obviously time to butter up the beautiful Sylveon's trainer and get this shit legit!!!]

Sometimes wild pokemon can take an interest in particular trainers for one reason or another, rather than just fighting or fleeing.
