[Today's home video features Adorababy the Sylveon and an unknown Eevee. 'Dora is sitting on his haunches, front paws and back toes all lined up in a neat little row. He looks mildly confused (but not unhappy) as the Eevee circles around him, headbutting him and rubbing against him like a fluffy kitten. This adorable video is accompanied at first only by the adoring "Veeee!"s enunciated by the worshiping Eevee, but after about twenty seconds of cuteness overload, the cameraman speaks up.]

Is anybody missing a puppycat?

[Whaddup, it's ya boi, Krieg. He sounds just as confused as 'Dora looks. The Eevee is oblivious to all of the confusion it's causing, completely and utterly absorbed as it is in its worshipful adulations.]

It followed us home from Goldenrod and won't go away.

Think of it this way: look how this world is set up. Everything revolves around Pokemon and protecting them and treating them right. Do you think a world like that would make a place for them to stay in a lot that was bad?

[Korra, that is an excellent point. That makes a lot of sense.

But, you're also talking to a man who has an intense dislike - or perhaps even an intense fear? - of being confined. Why would he subject his friends to a thing he would personally fight tooth and nail to escape?]

Maybe it's nice, [WHICH HE DOUBTS] but the sun and the wind is nicer.

Or maybe they experience some kind of ideal Pokemon place. We don't really know....

Mnng....The Robot Arm says it's cozy but it still looks like a prison to me. They can come out of the balls whenever they want but they're stuck in the PC until I let them out.

It feels wrong.

You know....my girlfriend can talk to Pokemon. Maybe she can talk to one of yours about how they feel about it?

Then you'd know for sure.

[For some reason, that offer makes him smile a little bit - it's definitely the most cheerful he's looked since Korra started talking to him.]

Who's your girlfriend?

[He could have pointed out that the Robot Arm is a Pokemon, and is currently one of those under his care, but he's intrigued enough by the idea of a human who can talk to Pokemon that that's what he asks about instead.]

[Okay yeah, his entire demeanor shifts and he instantly lights up when she says Botan's name.]

Yeah! She gave me my Torch Dragon!

Ha, thanks! I don't know much picking there was, it just...sort of happened.

However it happened it's good that it happened! Good for her and good for you!

I know she talks to her ghosts. I didn't know she talked to other ones?

[Ghosts he can see. Also: Psychic pokemon, he can definitely see. He's been taking care of Fe Fe for Gaige for a while now, (or Fe Fe's been taking care of him; it depends on who you ask), so that one's a definite no-brainer.]

Yeah, she can talk to all kinds of Pokemon! One of the first times we ever met, she helped me work out some issues with Bullseye, my Braviary. Who was just a Rufflet back then, and we....didn't exactly jive. Communication issues.

Botan helped out a lot.

[So, so good. Nobody deserves Botan, and yet here they all are, blessed with her presence anyway.]

What's a Braviary? I don't know that one.
