Everything feels off for me. I really can't explain it.

I was here a week ago and I had this monkey with me. I came back here and now I have a bunny. Or... "Buneary"? It's really cute, though!

But, I also have all of this gear with me. In a large backpack. There's so many pockets here, there's no way it should hold a lot of stuff here, but they do. I mean, there's clothes and all of these cleaning detergents and such and it still is roomy!

Also, I'm a little bigger now and I feel very awkward right now.

Uh, someplace called "New Bark Town"? I'm eyeing this ferry that's supposed to take me to a "Kanto" if I want to?

Everything seems so close by, too.

Yeah that's a thing you can do. You can choose where you want to go when you want to start your Pokemon Journey.

Buneary huh? You've got a good solid Pokemon starter there, they're a Normal Type but they have a lot of skills later on.

As for where I'm going, I'm not entirely sure. I was thinking of seeing Kanto and all, but... is it just as fun going through that Route 29?

And, I do have one person I met here, but no one that I know personally.

It's pretty interesting, that's for sure. There's a lot of towns to see in either region. And lots of people to help if you need it.

Bunny, Buneary, it's just semantics. Could call it something completely different if you wanted.

But, huh... Funny you mention the backpacks. Most people get weirded out by the PCs and Pokeballs. Never really stopped to consider the packs as oddities.

Anyway, just take it easy. It's a lot to get used to, but if you pace yourself, you'll be all right.

I admit that a lot of mechanical things aren’t surprising to me. I have a friend who is really into that. I just never seen something that’s not a machine be that way.

And thanks for the advice. It’s still a lot to take in, but... it seems fun!

Personally, I think Kanto's the better region. Bigger cities, more stuff to do.

Downside's that you gotta fork over P2000 to take the boat. Upside's that you're not roughing it in the wilderness for three days.

Worth a shot, I'd say. Right off the bat, you get fresh fish and produce in Pallet, battle clubs and libraries in Viridian, a Museum in Pewter... and that's just the first few cities.

[But hey, lots of stuff for tourists to lap up. He certainly wishes he'd started there instead of getting stuck in Violet City purgatory.]

Aah, it's always a delight to see a new face that'll likely stick around for a time! Last week seemed rather... odd in that regard. Though it sounds as though you were here a week prior as well; might you be here to stay? It certainly seems as though you've ended up at the same starting point as the rest of us.

Are you in New Bark Town? Where did you end up when you were here before?

It sounds like you were a visitor during one of our strange weekends. It's not common people remember those if they come here after.

You might be feeling strange because the weekends let everyone be as they normally are. If they have powers, if they're not human. But for the rest of the time here everyone is human with no powers.

It can be confusing when you get here. I'd suggest getting used to your gear. It's easier to use then it looks. It actually has a lot of information in it. It can tell you about pokemon, show you maps of the area and things like that.

Has anyone told you about the wild pokemon on the routes?
