Hey! Barkeep guy! You were right, that Mom lady was really weird! She gave me a lot of snacks, though, so that's cool.

But, uh, I kind of. Already ate them all? Look, I got carried away, okay? Does anyone know if there's anything else to eat on, what is it, Route 29? Besides the berries, I mean. My girl here - [she gestures to her new Noibat pal] - really digs them buuuuuut I still think they seem kinda suspect. For me to eat, that is. Thanks, peeps!

Uhhh, you know, it's been a really long times since I cooked anything. Maybe hold off on the rice until I get to somewhere that has an actual stove I can use to remind myself. Canned stuff is totally fine for camping out.

Not a problem. There's shopping centers in each area, and trainers you can Pokemon Battle with Forfeits by the way, to start your journey if you need income. You can also get work, but the trainer life is also a lot of fun.

And I'll try to feel slightly less bad about beating up the kids who want to fight me out here, since apparently that's what they're out here for.

Yeah. There's checkpoints aka Gym Battles. They're tough, so leveling up your Pokemon with training and battles is the way to go there.

There's people of all ages, so don't worry too much. Everyone's on a Pokemon journey here in some form or another.

Yeah there's several good places in Cherrygrove. I'll send you some addresses but I recommend the Flowerhat Cafe.

Man, thanks so much for the info, seriously. I got a little taste of everything, uh...was it just last weekend? But I had no idea if I was actually going to stick around or not, so I didn't really pay that much attention.

Yeah that happens. You come here, stick around a little, come back... I know a girl named Lillie who comes here every weekend it happens and she never sticks. I can't remember her face ever but like, it's clear as mud when she does?

Sometimes I can remember people here when they do show up from weekends, sometimes not. Sometimes I'm too busy to see them off, but I try to make time. This weekend I wasn't busy either so this was a Good Weekend for talking to people and making new friends.

Yeah, it's great we can meet. And hey, I'll see you on the road sometime since I'm traveling again.

It's a lot of fun here really, and it never really gets old at all. There's lots to see and do. I'm still taking on Gyms once in a while. We're getting close to Viridian City after all. I should challenge Blue soon.
