[The video begins shakily as someone off-screen fumbles with their PokeGear, but is eventually corrected. Once properly focused, viewers are greeted with a rather odd incredibly cool-looking girl and a tiny shark gremlin relaxing in a mud bath.

Her face is heavily obscured by two things: a large mass of bushy, dark purple hair; and a ridiculous-looking super dope mask. There are a few differences though—the scaly pattern is purple in color, and the teeth are yellow instead of red. There appears to be a zipper along the front, hidden in the fabric. The only part of her face that's really visible are two piercing, amber eyes.]

So I, uh. Wasn't planning on posting anything since I figured I'd be out of here by now. But since it's been a week and I'm still stuck in "Johto" or whatever, I figured I'd at least say hey, I guess.

And yeah, I know it's been a week and I'm still in Cherrygrove. Kiss my ass. I've been hanging out for a while. It's chill here.

[In actuality, she'd visited the Pokemon Center, then tried to book it to Violet City. She realized quickly though that she was in over her head (especially with only one Pokemon that wasn't in a shell) and made her way back to Cherrygrove to figure out what to do next. The spa she'd passed up the first time through would probably be a good place to figure it out.]

When I do yeet out of here tho, I'd like to have more than just one Pokemon with me. Might be a good idea. [She turns to her Gible and pats it on the head.] Don't worry about it little guy. Y'did great.

Ssssooooo........anybody know when these are supposed to hatch? [She motions toward the eggs resting on on the edge of the bath.] They've been shakin' around 'n' shit, but nothing's really—

[With just about perfect timing, one of the eggs starts to shake. Then it starts shaking a bit faster. And then,

it shakes itself off the edge, and into the mud.]

FUCK

[She reaches for the egg quickly, only to recoil when a bright light smashes the egg apart from the inside.

When the light fades, viewers can see her amber eyes twinkling in awe as she gazes upon a small, red sword.]

Red Buster.....

[It's not really clear what exactly her quiet whisper means, but she snaps out of it quickly and faces the camera.]

SO UHHHH.....THIS IS SICK AS HELL

This one looks different than what I saw in the egg catalog—is that okay?? Did I fuck up iS THIS BECAUSE I DROPPED IT IN MUD

[She doesn't seem like she's usually the emotive type, but right now she looks equal parts real worried and absolutely ecstatic.]

[The camera feed gets a bit disoriented, being strapped to her arm and all- she's holding her face in her hands. Briefly the camera instead looks at a whole crew of pokemon....and not a single Larvesta can be seen.] Oh no this is like with Harald isn't it...

But yeah, if you want one hit him up I guess. Probably won't look as cool as mine though. [ Susie grins. She turns to her new son Red Buster and tries to figure out how to high five it. ]

Oh yeah, I think I saw something about "free eggs". If I knew they were gonna hatch swords, I would've been right on that. To be perfectly honest, I don't really know that much about Pokemon yet.

Ohhh... maybe I can get one that hatches a spear!

[ She pats Red Buster on the... head? Pommel? She pats it on the pommel. ] Not like it'd be able to replace this guy though.

Guess there's all kinds of weird shit around here, huh?

Hmm, I'd say so. But I've dealt with plenty of weird stuff back home, so this is like, practically normal for me.

If your egg was just hatching in that very moment anyway, it was likely fully developed. It would've already had its colours.

[ Susie sighs in relief and leans back a little. ] Thank fuck. [ She looks back to Red Buster, looking enamored again. ] Hey there little buddy......

..You wanna, like. Relax in here with us? Not sure how it'd work for you exactly, but— [ He cuts her off (heh) by removing his sheath, placing it on the edge of the bath, and sinking down happily into the mud until his blade is no longer visible. ] Right on.

[ She turns back to the camera. ] And thanks. Yeah, I guess they can be swords?? I'm pretty stoked about it too. Definitely makes up for me not getting to keep my axe.

[ Tempest (a cool name for a cool goblin) perks up at Hogs' comment, but seems rather flustered. Umm.. t-thank you..!! Y-you too....??

Yes, weapons and any special abilities don't seem to be allowed... Though where might you have come from to have owned an entire axe?

[It's a pretty good expression. Definitely baffled. He blinks slowly and tilts his head as he tries to make heads or tails of how that's at all related to high school. Ultimately, though, he doesn't question it, simply shrugging.] ...I do suppose.

Red Buster takes the both of them by surprise, though, and Harald gives a warm chuckle.] Such an energetic new arrival! He seems as though he'll be fun to play with.

[Even though he's a sword.

Harald frowns. No actually we're coming back to this now.] ...I'm sorry, what sort of education were you receiving that required an axe?

OK...I mean I've been here awhile but yeah I gotta admit that guy is pretty badass.

[ She pats Red Buster on the pommel. ] You got any like this?

Nah, no steel types on my team. The closest I've got maybe is Absol who has a pretty huge horn on his head.

So what's with the toothy mask anyway? You hoping to trick people into thinking you're a pokemon too?
