22nd Zapfish [Video, Goldenrod City]

Aaaah, almos' forgot!!

[A fire had been lit in Thida after the news of people she had known leaving for home hit her hard in the heart. There wasn't any time to waste being sad and not making memories or new friends when she had specifically asked everyone a very important question last month. It's just...well...it's been a long trip back and forth, and she's been tired, and Inklings always sleep in late without question. You can imagine it had slipped her mind to announce anything right as it happened.

But, anyway, the feed on the 'Gear hastily turns to two Pokemon sitting on a couch. There's an Omanyte, settled in as if the threadbare cushions were a throne of the highest magnitude, and an Anorith, who honestly just looks happy to be here.]

So, I went to th'museum place, in Pewter City, to make sure my fossils were good for becomin' Pokemon? 'N they changed 'em back for me, look! They're livin'!

[She gets close to the Omanyte. It deigns her a haughty glance.]

This is Omni!

[Then to the Anorith! It chirp-clicks and wiggles its front pincer things.]

This is Nosu!

[Then back to Thida, who's grinning from ear to ear.]

Fossils is so cool! We looked at th'museum stuff, too, 'n saw more Pokemon, 'n bones...don't like th'bones in me here, but, those were cool bones! Super old! 'N all the science stuff made sense, it wasn't hard t'understand!

[Thida............]

Omni 'n Nosu like chairs already, so, that's good. And Pokemon food. Still gotta show 'em other future stuff, though. What stuff should we do first?

Heeeeeh so it really does make pokemon from the fossils..!?

I still have so far to go before I can even wake mine up then... ...Ah!!

Bikes! They should get to ride a bike, even from a basket~!

O-OH~ Th- That's good to hear! Hahaa..! [Time to aggressively not think about that time she was a zombie.

Anyway.
] Mnh...I don't know if they're sold anywhere else, since I never really looked...but I got mine in Goldenrod! Don't really use it that much now that Hei-chan's evolved though...

Hard? ...Oh that's...

A good question. I learned how when I was pretty small, so it's a hard guess... ...didn't take me too long to figure out a motorcycle though, so it's probably similar...

You just need to make sure you have a good sense of balance!

Yeah, basically!

With a bike you need to pedal to keep it going though, so make sure you can sort of stand over it when it's stopped, even if it's just with your toes okay? Super important!

I'm glad you were able to revive your fossils. They both look adorable. [But, you know, water pokemon bias.] Maybe yours and mine can hang out some time and--

[A pause, as Armin's brain catches up with all the other stuff Thida was saying. The fossils were so excellent that he couldn't help but focus on them but really one of those things she had said was just a bit...]

Wait. What was that about your bones?

[Yes, Armin is aware of the outside the body nature of museum bones.]

It's just that... the way you said it makes it sounds like you have different bones back in your world. Maybe I am just misunderstanding you...

Ah, that's--

[Super weird, but Armin has been here for a while. This is not his 'actually, i am not even human' conversation.]

I guess it is my fault for assuming you were human and never checking. Uhm, if you don't mind me asking, what sort of being are you in your own world?

[Is she another robot?? Armin has met a few of those.]

Looks like those two have turned out pretty well! Have you tried bringing them to the Pokémart? Or even the Department Store? That would be a good opportunity to show them more inventions and objects.

In that case... I guess the next step would be beds? Warm, solid beds, so they can learn to huddle under the covers and jump when you're not looking.

Luckily, they're both small enough to play on it. It'd be much harder if you had ended up with one of those Aerodactyls instead.

[Even if the mental image is amusing.]

Big enough for people to ride, from what I've heard. Imagine coming back to life after millions of years, only to have strange creatures climb on your back...
