fifth feather [Video] backdated to the 16th
[The video opens on the carpeted floor of an inn room in Ecruteak, swerving in definitely shaky hands. The person holding the camera is unmistakably Rakka, even before the Pokegear is facing her fretful visage.]
O-okay I know this is happening all over, and it's all people who were... gone. And I guess I thought it wouldn't happen to a Haibane. B-but then it did, and now she just follows me everywhere and...
[Breathe. Okay. Trying to control herself now. Over what? Well to the point, Rakka finally positions the camera until it's focused on her bed, where a young woman is sitting. The simple (and admittedly old-looking) clothing is one thing, but the adage of angel wings and a halo may definitely raise alarm. She's definitely not a threat... but that's not stopping Rakka from shaking.]
I-It should be fine. If I talk to her, I mean, right? I know her. We always talked to each other...
[Which she isn't right now. Silence permeates the air. It's fine.]
Can you say something? Anything? We're... we're friends!
[......]
So, just... tell me what want, I'll... I can...
[As quiet as the visitor is, Rakka's pleading does not fall on deaf ears as it would first appear to. The ghost tilted her head, and finally lifts herself from the bed, stepping towards the screen.
Rakka bolts. The video remains a blurred and jolted mess until, miraculously, she switches it off.]

Voice
[Because she doesn't want more people to get from this, thank you!]
Voice
[she sounds fine, if being on the verge of a panic attack is by all accounts "fine". Having the ghost of a friend in your room with you should never be something that's fine.]
Hurt. I-I mean. I'm okay, nothing happened.
[That's the worst part.]
Voice
Uh...you sure? You sound really scared over there.
[Because ghost or not, there was no way that Rakka didn't sound terrified. And that only made Mabel worry even more.]
Voice
[...There really is no way for her to sound fine right now. Rakka wasn't even giving it much of a try.]
Nothing happened... [And she sounds like that's the issue.]
Voice
...You know, it's not a bad thing to say that you're scared though. I mean, with all these bizarro ghost stuff going on, no one is going to blame you for that!
I know I sure am!
Voice
Afraid? Mm... [Her voice is quiet, but she's at least making the attempt to be heard.] Now that I tried, I guess there's no trying to argue with that. I... I'm afraid.
Voice
[Said the girl who fought a demonic evil triangle, time traveling weirdos, shape shifters, and a bunch of mushy stuff in between]
I think they're just as scared as you are!
Voice
[She almost sounds shocked by the prospect. Imagine. Someone possibly being scared of her, it really wasn't something she had even considered.]
I... I don't think that's really what's going on. [Thankfully, Rakka's voice had settled into a kind of calm now.] Kuu really doesn't seem like she's scared - in fact, she was following me all day.
Voice
Really? If it's following you around, maybe they just want to talk to you! I bet it must be something super important if they're sticking like glue to you!
Voice
I thought so too, at least at first. But every time I asked her what she wanted, she didn't answer.
[Which is both rude and creepy.]
Voice
[Hmmmm, it looked like she needed to put on her thinking cap for this all right!]
Well, they probably want to play a game or something with you! Maybe that will be a good way for them to slowly start opening up to you!
Voice
[you put on that thinking cap tight, Mabel. You're gunna need it.]
Oh, you think a game can help? [She. hasn't thought of that yet.] L-like what?
Re: Voice
[She said before switching the function under to video!] I can even think of something right now! I spy with my little eye something that is brown! [She said with a giggle]
Now you try it, you're going to have to guess what I'm looking at!
Voice late!
[Mabel no, her entire color scheme is browns you've doomed her.]
Something... brown. What could that... [She's looking up, it's slowly coming together!] Oh, could it be my hair?
Voice, no worries!
And there we go, we've got yourselves a winner here! Good job but you know what that means right? [She said with a giant giggle or two]
It's your turn! What do you spy? [And you know, hopefully get the ghost to join in on the fun too!]
no subject
[... Heh. Ehehe... It's small, but the makings of a smile edge at the corners of her lips.]
A-ah... alright. [Give her a second, gotta wipe some fear tears.] I guess I spy with my little eye something [hmm] brown?
no subject
Brown again? Hmmmm, oh I know! You must be talking about my hair right? I mean, that's gotta be it!
[Because what else would be brown in her obxniously bright colour scheme?]
no subject
Heh... Do you really think that my... ghost will want to join in?
no subject
[Or so she hoped]
