[Carly seems to be out on the Cycling Road today! The exhaustion of a night full of celebrating followed by days of biking has been banished for now, or at least enough to have the camera rolling while she grins outside.]

I got to do something special yesterday~ There was a whole lot going on, but one guy got this idea for ~Blind Trades~ and I thought...why not? I mean I've caught a few pokemon that could deserve better attention, and if there's mystery to it then that's even better, and I'm sure they'll enjoy what I gave them...but anyway! We just had to set a level limit, and tell each other what we really can't handle, and that was it! Trade away!

This guy is the pokemon she received from a certain recent rocket heist on the museum, ala one scientist bribing the lot to keep their mouths shut and go away.

Right. I don't know if you've seen that other Steven's questions about his... Snotball... but here's the gist: there's some strange, muddy woman in mismatched shoes and a labcoat with the name of 'C. Liss' that's... well, she's literally going up to people, shoving muddy pokeballs in their hands, and running the hell away.

It happen to me and Handsome Jack in Goldenrod, it happened to one of the other Stevens in Pewter, and it must have happened to whoever you did your blind trade with. No wonder they foisted it off to someone else site unseen, as soon as they got the mud off.

The three of us are talking to one of the transplants who's a researcher? We're trying to figure out where they come from. I mean, we think she or someone mashed together some partial fossils, but we don't know which partial fossils. But at least two bottom halves and I guess two top halves too now.

[She only makes it private because when Dirk contacted her with his prehistoric abomination, he asked her to keep it on the down-low. Not that Jane thinks such a thing could be possible now, but...out of a shred of respect for promises, she can still do that.

Though, "blind trade with level limit" and "I got this weird fish from a shady character while doing a shady thing" are very different methods of acquiring new friends.]

Not particularly, no...but, well...I was asked to keep quiet about a certain mutual friend having a similar jigsaw-puzzle Pokemon, and I am rather concerned about this shady individual just handing out...weird chimeras.
