Hey, guys. Riku here. Most of you guys probably won't remember, but years ago, there used to be a group called the PGC- that's Pokemon Guardian Corps, and we were dedicated to keeping the peace and fighting Team Rocket.
Back then, the Rockets were actively causing crimes every few months. Bomb threats being their bread and butter. Pretty sure that particular Rocket's long gone, but with these recent crime waves... well. I'm starting to think we need to be more proactive again.
Not sure how many have taken matters like this into their own hands. There's already a post up that gave some info on the recent crimes. That tells me that we're dealing with at least one or two Psychic type Pokemon, so if you can, I recommend getting your hands on some Dark Types for your own safety. Pokemon with the abilities Shadow Tag or Arena Trap are good options, too- to prevent the teleporting. Mean Look if you don't have the ability, preferably on something fast like a Haunter or Gengar.
Personally, though? We've got a lot of tough trainers. Aurora League members, longtime residents, but... I know a lot of you "newer" trainers are competent in your own right. I haven't taken enough steps to really get to know a lot of you, but I don't think this is something we need to restrict to people with teams of level 100's.
There's strength in numbers, and if the cops aren't gonna pull their weight, then I think a concentrated effort to push back is the way to go. So if anyone's interested in a PGC revival, lemme know. Maybe we can hash things out from there. And if you've got any more intel on the crimes, I think this is a good spot to share the details and maybe hash out some strategies.
There's... also some sensitive info I got from a former Rocket back in the day that might be worth discussing, but that's something I wanna keep to a private line. I already know Rockets hide in plain sight- and not all of 'em are willing to turn on the organization like he did.

[Connie's chest puffs out slightly at the boast and she grins.]
Still, I'm worried. It sounds like there was a major lull in activity before a few months ago and now things are picking back up again... I have to wonder if they're planning something big.
Since we're on a private connection now, what was that intel you were talking about? I know running off half-cocked on my own isn't the best plan, so trust me when I say I won't do anything reckless, but it'll help me sleep at night knowing we have an advantage over them.

[Riku flashes a smirk- truth is, it'd be nice. Maybe even a good challenge. Hard to say these days.]
Wouldn't surprise me, though. I hear they stole some Pokemon a few months back- now they're going even bigger. Seems pretty shady to me...
[And... hmm. He pauses for a long moment. She probably won't believe this, but-]
But as for that intel... I know exactly where Team Rocket's base is, and I have for years.

Holy crap, where is it? And why haven't you reported it to the Jennies yet?

[He grumbles at that fact.]
We raided the tower a few years ago. We know Team Rocket is there, but after Lightning left, we just... never did another large scale raid.
I'd like to at some point, though. Oust them from the Tower for good and expose them for the whole world to see.

[OH GOD. OH FUCK. THIS IS BAD. Good thing Connie's a great actor.]

This is probably gonna require a slow burn at first. Fighting smarter, not harder.
[He sighs. It's rough. The impulsive side of him wants to act now, but... he's not a plucky teen anymore. He knows better.]

Regardless, you have my Aegislash, et cetera. Please let me know when we start meeting officially, I'd like to be there.
