Who:Romelle, OPEN
Where: New Bark -> Cherrygrove
When: All week!
Summary: Romelle is now stuck after her initial Fourth Wall visit. Come say hi! I will happily match formats, but I usually write everything, even action spam, in third-person past-tense. There's a network option at the bottom!
Rating: PG-13? Just to be safe.
Log:
New Bark Town
[Romelle knocked on the door of the house she'd just been kicked out of several times.]
Excuse me?! But I still have questions! What am I supposed to do? How do I get home?
[She was going to keep doing that until someone stopped her...]
Why am I having this dream again?!
Route 29
[Romelle had set off as suggested, wandering along to explore. The map helped a little? And she had a general idea that she needed to go to Cherrygrove City, which was apparently just straight ahead. So, sure... she could go that way.
Of course, her first couple of encounters with wild Pokemon didn't exactly go smoothly. She probably could use some help. She was going to run away or something from most of them. Stufful was very vexed and confused by this.]
Cherrygrove City
[Between the Mart, the Center, the Inn, and the beach, Romelle was already kind of okay with this. The Inn even had a spa! It was a small little place, though, and Romelle probably wouldn't linger long, but it was a good place to rest and get some sleep in a bed after her trek along Route 29...]
=====
[The video opened up with a familiar blond that some might know or some might have seen during the crazy whacky weekend a while back (if the dream isn't too fuzzy for you). However, she looked a little confused and perhaps a bit worried. If you knew her before, she won't remember you, sorry. She was doing her best!]
It seems I'm having this dream again, but things have gotten to a point where I'm beginning to think it might not be a dream. I didn't remember it while I was awake, but I do now, and I'm hoping to find a few of my friends. They were here in my dream...
But, my name is Romelle. I think... I think some people might know me? Someone told me that I've been here before. I do apologize. I don't remember it.

New Bark
Today, though, things are different. There's no question of who the familiar blonde can be, especially with the way she's carrying on. Hunk honestly can't decide how to feel about seeing her here, because he'd kind of been hoping her visit a while back had been the end of it.]
You had so much fun the first time that you decided to come back for real?
no subject
I guess... though, really... you know me. I'm not a fan of "adventures". [She looked up at him.] It wasn't a dream, was it?
no subject
I've been here for months, and normally I'd try to convince you to give this place a chance. But honestly... I have to agree.
[He's been trying. It's nice to know that the others seem so happy here, but Hunk can't even bring himself to feel the same. With a frown, he moves to take a seat next to her.]
I'm still hoping this is all just a weird dream.
no subject
[She had concerns, okay? And several of them were tied to the point in time she was from back home.]
no subject
We've been through weirder than this. So yea. I feel like we'll probably be okay.
[Or she'll be okay and he'll continue to be irritated. Either way.]
no subject
True. [That got a tiny smile.] Thanks.
[She took a deep breath and stood up from the house step, a new look of determination on her face. Time to stop fretting and do something.]
So, what's next, then?
no subject
He'd still rather be at home.] No worries.
[Fortunately, Romelle hasn't been here long enough to feel homesick. Or at least he's going to assume as much for now. The question has him shrugging, though.]
That depends on you, I guess. For the most part, we appear to have free reign of the place. I've been doing the gym challenge for a bit now, but you don't have to do the same if you don't want to.
no subject
[She might as well learn about it before making a decision, right?]
no subject
[Hunk taps his chin thoughtfully. It's probably about as normal as anything else that goes on here, at least?]
Pretty much... you're out on the road a lot. [He's using the word road incredibly loosely here.] There's a lot of travel involved. Each major city or town has its own gym to challenge. If you win, you get a badge, some money and sometimes a TM or an HM that allows you to teach your pokemon a new move.
no subject
[Money, too? Romelle still needed to get used to the idea of money. They'd been pretty much given everything on the colony... sort of. It was still somewhat rationed to make sure everyone had a fair share, but they hadn't needed to actually buy things.]
TM and HM?
no subject
[Some parts are better than others, obviously. The money's nice and he enjoys the opportunity to discover new places and meet new people.]
Stands for technical machine and hidden machine. You can use them to allow a pokemon to learn a move it might not necessarily be able to.
no subject
[She considered it for a moment, and then nodded a little.]
I suppose that's something I'll need to remember then. But, what if I don't want to battle? Is there a way to avoid that?
no subject
[Maybe he wouldn't have chosen trainer for himself, but he's also not sure what he'd have preferred instead. It's still a little odd that people can't just be here. For now, though, he figures it's probably pointless to worry about it.]
Battling's easy enough to avoid if you're not into it. Just don't worry about going to the gyms, and trainers are easy to dodge when you're traveling.
no subject
That's good to know.
[Her Stufful, on the other hand, had Plans and Aspirations. He wasn't going to sit by and do nothing! He snorted a short, "Stuff!" as if to say he wanted to fight.]
