Who:Romelle, OPEN
Where: New Bark -> Cherrygrove
When: All week!
Summary: Romelle is now stuck after her initial Fourth Wall visit. Come say hi! I will happily match formats, but I usually write everything, even action spam, in third-person past-tense. There's a network option at the bottom!
Rating: PG-13? Just to be safe.
Log:
New Bark Town
[Romelle knocked on the door of the house she'd just been kicked out of several times.]
Excuse me?! But I still have questions! What am I supposed to do? How do I get home?
[She was going to keep doing that until someone stopped her...]
Why am I having this dream again?!
Route 29
[Romelle had set off as suggested, wandering along to explore. The map helped a little? And she had a general idea that she needed to go to Cherrygrove City, which was apparently just straight ahead. So, sure... she could go that way.
Of course, her first couple of encounters with wild Pokemon didn't exactly go smoothly. She probably could use some help. She was going to run away or something from most of them. Stufful was very vexed and confused by this.]
Cherrygrove City
[Between the Mart, the Center, the Inn, and the beach, Romelle was already kind of okay with this. The Inn even had a spa! It was a small little place, though, and Romelle probably wouldn't linger long, but it was a good place to rest and get some sleep in a bed after her trek along Route 29...]
=====
[The video opened up with a familiar blond that some might know or some might have seen during the crazy whacky weekend a while back (if the dream isn't too fuzzy for you). However, she looked a little confused and perhaps a bit worried. If you knew her before, she won't remember you, sorry. She was doing her best!]
It seems I'm having this dream again, but things have gotten to a point where I'm beginning to think it might not be a dream. I didn't remember it while I was awake, but I do now, and I'm hoping to find a few of my friends. They were here in my dream...
But, my name is Romelle. I think... I think some people might know me? Someone told me that I've been here before. I do apologize. I don't remember it.

Route 29
Eh?
[He stops a good stone's throw away from the battle to assess the dust-up.]

[Certainly, the pink and brown raccoon like creature seemed to think so, and Romelle was visibly unsure about the whole thing. Meanwhile, the little purple rat seemed ready to throw down against the raccoon. The two of them were making "rattata!" and "stufful!" noises at each other as Romelle finally agreed.]
Okay, okay... whatever you want!
[So, the stufful jumped in to tackle the rattata! This was going so well!]

Tell your weird dog to go for the tail!
no subject
[Oh, wait... Keith had called his wolf that once... maybe that was a human term for a canine? And while Romelle wasn't entirely sure Stufful was a canine, she got the picture pretty quickly. She nodded.]
Stufful, go for the tail!
[And the pink raccoon-bear-dog did just that! He looked proud of himself. This was how it was supposed to work, right? He grappled the rat-thing down using Tackle. In response, the purple rat turned and tried to Bite back.]
New Bark Town
His own memories of that "weird weekend" are coming back in fits and starts, and he can't say as he's enjoying that either, given that his memory is usually eidetic. But he can't let himself dwell on that right now.]
I don't think this actually is a dream, unless you're prone to dreaming total strangers.
no subject
Ah, sorry. [She turned around, visibly embarrassed.] I vaguely remember someone mentioning you can't get in, but... it's rather fuzzy. Like I dreamed this place before- [But yes... he did mention strangers.]
No, I... I don't often dream of strangers. But I've met a lot of new people lately, so I wouldn't be surprised if there were some people I didn't immediately recognize in my dreams.
I do have to say, though... this place... I know I've never seen it before.
no subject
There was something that happened - well, for me it would have been a year ago, but I don't know if that's the case for everybody who was here when I was. This place sort of drags people in temporarily, and then a few days later they go home none the wiser. I've only got any memories of it at all because I don't generally forget things, and even my memories of it are scrambled and incomplete and didn't start coming back at all until I woke up here. [He paused, glancing at the exterior of "Mom's" house again.] I'm fairly sure I never saw this place specifically, though.
no subject
It was much more recent for me, but yes. I didn't remember the dream at all until I was back here again.
[She sighed.]
I think, though, that coming through "Mom" means that I'll be here for quite some time, perhaps. This time, anyway.
I was hoping it was just a dream... [She'd heard of dreams like that before. The Paladins had been through some strange game together in a dream once. But, clearly, this was different.]

It's not a dream, it's a different world people end up in.
I knew you before but people come back and forget things sometimes. ....My name's Newt.
no subject
[Romelle looked a little disappointed. The idea that people knew her when she didn't know them was a little disturbing.]
Well, it's nice to meet you, Newt. Again, I suppose? Though I guess it wouldn't really be again if I don't remember from the last time.
no subject
Well, I'm meeting you again. Have your friends said hi yet? I met you the first time because sometimes I stay at Shiro's house.
no subject
She nodded, though.]
Yes. A few of them, actually. I saw several of them when I was here during those few days that feel even more like a dream... but some have said hi here already.
It's good to have some familiar faces.

So you actually met mom this time?
[ ... though ideally he would prefer Romelle didn't remember his bed head. ]
no subject
[In the background, "Stufful!" could be heard, almost protesting that the idea they had met before was just a dream.]
no subject
... yeah, that's weird.
[ But Romelle's seemingly back for real now, so he should focus on that. Probably. ]
Dreams aside... are you doing okay?
no subject
[And, because she honestly can't remember if she'd asked him before.]
How long have you been here?
[video] [private]
Pardon the question, but those marks... Are you Altean?
[video] [private]
Ah, yes... I am. Have you met me before? Or perhaps Princess Allura?
[As the dream was definitely fuzzy, Romelle did remember that Allura had been here, too. So, maybe he knew Alteans that way?]

[Thace's smile is almost non-existant, but he's had enough time to process and is covering with dry humor.]
Galra are very different from Earthlings, although I'm starting to suspect that whatever changes arrivals into Earthlings only has a passing familiarity with the species.

[He pauses, the memory of the Weekend coming back, slowly - distantly. Like it always does.]
[And then beams.]
Romelle! Hey! Welcome back.
no subject
So... when I was here, that was real, then, wasn't it? [It was starting to feel more and more like her dreamy memories weren't a dream after all...]
no subject
[It's pretty normal to feel overwhelmed, anyway.]
Yeah, looks like it. Those... memories are always a bit hazy on those weekends.

New Bark
Today, though, things are different. There's no question of who the familiar blonde can be, especially with the way she's carrying on. Hunk honestly can't decide how to feel about seeing her here, because he'd kind of been hoping her visit a while back had been the end of it.]
You had so much fun the first time that you decided to come back for real?
no subject
I guess... though, really... you know me. I'm not a fan of "adventures". [She looked up at him.] It wasn't a dream, was it?
no subject
I've been here for months, and normally I'd try to convince you to give this place a chance. But honestly... I have to agree.
[He's been trying. It's nice to know that the others seem so happy here, but Hunk can't even bring himself to feel the same. With a frown, he moves to take a seat next to her.]
I'm still hoping this is all just a weird dream.
