[Erina sits with Jonathan's yamper in her lap, giving it little scritches. Behind her, Peda is dramatically laying on the ground at this betrayal. Erina is unmoved by this tantrum.]

Hello, family!

Jonathan and I are both planning to go to Sinnoh. With that in mind, would you all be opposed to visiting with us? I would normally send out a proper invitation, but that does seem to be a bit much. I would very much like to see you in the flesh, after all, as convenient a device this is.

[She's playing with Danny's paws now; the yamper is in heaven. Peda flops to the other side of her, large tail sticking out from behind Erina. The Joestar Matriarch remains unmoved. Peda will need to learn to share her attentions.]

Would that be agreeable to you?

No, naturally it is not mandatory. And of course it wouldn't take that long. But a meal perhaps, in the evening would be the extent of it. Jonathan and I are also eager to go exploring.

Aaaand, uh, my dad kind of showed up, too?

Your father! [The surprise in her voice makes Danny and Peda jump in surprise.] My goodness! I'll add them both immediately so they can make that decision to join us or not. I do hope they come, though. I would like to speak to your father especially.

[Somehow she doesn't like the idea of her speaking to her dad and that's sure as hell warning bells going off in her head.

[Erina comforts Danny and, to a lesser extent, Peda for scaring them. Peda calms down for a moment before going back to glaring death at Danny.]

[She's unsure if she should be more concerned about Erina or her dad at this point.]

Guess so. Just kinda warning you in advance and all that shit. Since, uh, yeah. Going from me to him is a huge difference, mostly.

Come to think of it, I'm pretty sure he's the same height Jonathan is. Which is also slightly terrifying.

[She invented that glare, so. Maybe Jotaro.]

Jolly, dearest, if I could adapt to Jonathan's more... colourful friends, I am sure I can adapt to my great-great-grandson. Anyway, I am also rather tall. I am rarely cowed by anyone's height.

Yeah, well. More just pointing out that it's kinda weird that he's the same height he is. And then there's those of us who aren't.

[She smiles.] That isn't terribly short at all! I think I am only an inch or two taller than you are. You'd be quite tall for a Victorian lady, you know. Many of the nurses I knew were several inches shorter than I.

Well, we all cannot be well over six feet. On the bright side, think of how many door frames you are safe from smacking into.

Of course; I had already presumed Emporio would be joining us. It didn't occur to me to ask if he was or wasn't related. [Erina gently tugs at the blonde braid over her shoulder, as if that answered enough of the question for him. She was blonde, Johnny was blond, therefore Emporio had to be related to someone in their group. What a surprise that he was not!

She leans slightly closer to the screen to look at Johnny's face. Squinting slightly.] It is nothing to be embarrassed over, you realize?

I-I didn't say it was! [[ sputter sputter cough. maybe there's a little bit of a blush. jeez!

but, back on track... ]] Anyway. I'll tell him, then. I'm sure he'll be pretty happy. It's been awhile since he's seen Jolyne, now that I think about it... And their friends from home, obviously.

[She chuckles softly and sits back. Danny wiggles around in her lap until he finds the best spot to lay in her skirts.] I did hear that she would be bringing along a... "Foo?" and her beau. As well as her father.

[She's still not sure why Jolly was so apprehensive about him.]

Her dad is here, too? This really is a family reunion. [[ yeesh. pressure. ]]

Yeah, apparently Foo is one of those friends from home. She seems... quirky. [[ their conversation was brief, but it sure was enough for johnny to get that much of a reading on her. ]] I've talked to the girlfriend before, too. She seems fine enough. [[ he's throwing praise like candy, someone stop him ]]

[Ah! There's the young man in question.] Hello, Emporio! Well, I had presumed you would be with Johnny or Jolyne, so it did not occur to me that you weren't a Joestar. It doesn't matter terribly overmuch, though, as I would very much like to properly meet you!

[She pauses just a moment to skritch Peda's chin and then beams at him.] You will join us, won't you?

Yeah, I'm with Johnny now...I think whoever runs the gamecorner still wants us, so we were hoping that going to Sinnoh would help lose them. [child,]

Um- even though I'm not, I'd love to come though..! It sounds like fun? ...And I've never been to a family reunion...

[She can't help it; Erina puts a hand to her heart in a fit of affection for the boy. How ernest!

She is still going to give Johnny a tongue-lashing for getting him in so much trouble, though.] I do think I speak with enough authority as Jolyne's grandmother to say that you are as much a Joestar as I - and I married into the family. [She giggles, then puts Danny to the side where he can go and bother Jonathan. Peda immediately takes that space and fats all over Erina's lap as if trying to remove the fact the yamper ever sat there.]

What kinds of things are we going to do at the reunion though? It's not a surprise right?
