Summary: Maya explores and tries to learn all the things.

1. Museum

[Well of course she's going to be at the museum. You can find her looking over all of it but she'll be spending a lot of her time in the section about legendary pokemon and taking notes. She's even got a few sketches made of the replica orbs there and will be asking if she can take photos. The other half of the time will be with the collection of old books and prints. If she notices someone wandering around she'll probably ask.]

2. Statues

[She'll be making a few trips to the statues. So feel free to run into her on her dawn trip or one of her more decent hour trips. She'll be taking photos of them both trips. And talking a lot to the older people who gather there. Though she's mostly hoping to just get the history and legends, but she does learn a lot about their grandkids. Breaking away from them you can also find her just looking over the statues and the writing on the plaques.]

3. General Town Stuff

[In a just seeing the sights sort of way you can see Maya and her team walking around, looking in stores. She's taking more pictures of things then she'd normally do. She can also be spotted having lunch with a local who she apparently knows somehow? Yeah they seem to be comparing lots of notes and if you happen to be close you might hear them talking about legendary pokemon. Like a lot.

She'll be walking around a lot so feel free to run into her somewhere.]

4. Underground.

You know this is actually pretty relaxing.

[Maya seems to be enjoying just...digging. Some of her pokemon are there to just watch but no powers, no pokemon help. Just...digging. It's kind of calming in a repetitive, meditative way. ...that also happens to get her loot. Sure not as exciting as fighting things, but still pretty simple.]

5. Forest/Old Chateau

[The forest is interesting and you can find Maya around there for a while. But after finding the creepy house in the woods, she'll be spending most of her time there. After all, what do weird haunted places have in common? aside from zombies and maybe not being canon. Loot! We'll this one might not but you'll still find Maya exploring the house and taking pictures as she goes. There is a Klefki floating around looking for things and failing at not being obvious about it.]

Look, I told you if we find an old key in this place, I'll let you take it. You just have to stop trying to go after museum keys. We're trying to be on our best behavior here.

6. Floaroma Town

[More pictures taken here as Maya just generally looks around at the stuff. It's less history and legends but it's interesting in its own way. She'll be wandering around to the various stores. Buying some honey treats, looking at books about berries. Being physically dragged into a poffin cooking class by an adamant Cinderace.]

7. Meadows
[And she'll of course end up in the meadows. You can find talking with the old lady about the legend of how the meadow came to be. Or just taking some pictures as she and her team walk through the meadows themselves.

You might spot her and some of her team meditating at some point in the grass as well.]

[Angel feels... a little guilty, disturbing Maya when she seems to be so at ease. And to her credit, Angel isn't so much as disturbing as she is simply approaching and settling down on the grass beside her.

She folds herself into a similar position as Maya, doing her best to ground herself in the same way she'd been taught previously. She tries for a moment to clear her head but --

Quickly finds herself blinking her eyes open and studying Maya's pose more than she is her own mental state.

[Maya will notice someone is setting net to her, meditating on Pandora is dangerous and you relearn things after all. But she'll wait a while before opening her eyes to see Angel.]

Hey.

[Angel had just closed her eyes when Maya began to speak. She cracks an eyelid open and flashes a small smile, almost sheepish in demeanor.]

Hi. I hope I did not disturb you?

[Have a smile back. It's fine, Angel.]

You didn't. Just taking a short break from the trip before we went around to look at some more things.

The meadow seemed like a nice spot. Have you looked around much?

If you say so. [Despite still looking a touch nervous she... does manage to coax herself into relaxing.]

I have done a little exploring. I've found so many flowers. I wish I could be sure they might survive the journey but... I suppose that's what the seeds in the shop are for.

The meadow is pretty good advertising for the shop here. Do you plan to buy any seeds to try back home?

[Plants that aren't trying to kill you are always nice.]

Aw, Maya. Don't be silly. [Angel smiles -- probably the widest she's managed since Krieg had left.]

I've already bought some.

[There's a pause and then Maya laughs. Thank you Angel, she needed that.]

I have clearly underestimated your love of flowers. I stand corrected.

So what seeds have you already bought?

So far I've tried to stay practical! Berry plants with pretty blooms that will give way to something with utilitarian purpose. But... one or two pretty sprouts wouldn't hurt, right?

[She leans over to examine a particular brilliant bloom.]

Pick a color for me?

Blue.

[Too no ones surprise.]

And it won't hurt at all. We're in a place where everything doesn't have to be strictly practical for once.

[The plants don't have to attack or explode or grow bullets.]

Good choice.

[Blue it is. She searches the array of blossoms, wordlessly wandering away. When she returns, she carries a blue flower within her hands. She tugs out a book and tucks the flower away.]

For us to remember. And so I know what flower to buy once I'm back in town.

Memories are a good idea.

[She's gotten her gear out while Angel had briefly gone off and she takes a picture of the meadow.]

I'm definitely getting better with the camera feature on this.

[She cranes her neck, trying to sneak a peek.]

Will you show me?

Sure.

...There are a lot though. So maybe not all of them.

[She'll angle the gear so that Angel can see the screen better. There are indeed a lot of photos. Photos of the buildings, people, pokemon. Pictures of Maya's pokemon. Pictures her pokemon took of her at places. Angel is probably in a few of them especially around the inn. It's like she's trying to document the entire trip.]

[Angel swipes back through a handful of photos, smiling as she does. She has a sneaking suspicion as to why Maya is documenting the trip so intensely, though she could also just be projecting, too.]

You know... I took a few videos for Krieg. I think he'd like it here. [She looks away from the gear and up at Maya.] When he comes back, we can show him what we've found together.

[Aha, nope you are 100% correct. She's finding ways to cope and this is one.]

...I think he'd like that.

[She'll glance over and smile.]

I took some video at that plant gym after I fought. Everyone using fire attacks, he'd get a kick out of that.

Could you imagine Gardenia if Krieg had come through? [She regrets not taking on the challenge now, if only to let some of Krieg's former Pokemon stretch their legs and wings. The fighters of the bunch, at least.]

You know, there might actually be a next time. I was kind of expecting something dramatic to happen, like the proms. But there isn't even a hint of it yet.

[Maybe she's jinxing it but yeah this seems a lot calmer so far.]

Maybe this... Arceus is smiling on us for once.

[After everything, Angel liked to think that they'd all earned a nice vacation. Even if she doubted that was actually what they were in for.]
