London's Sinnoh Vacation (Catch-all, OTA)
Who: London Tipton
yay_heiress and YOU!
Where: Various available locations in the Sinnoh Region
When: Aug 11th through the trip
Summary: London's first not-fabulously-wealthy vacation
Rating: G/PG (Warnings in threads if needed, but unlikely)
The Commute
London, for once, hadn't completely overpacked for the trip. Since she was aware she'd be out of town for quite some time, she figured it would be wise to leave plenty of space in her suitcase for shopping and souvenirs. Besides, she'd had a difficult time roping anyone into carrying all of her things for her.
Amidst the hustle and bustle at the airport, London still somehow managed to take in the beauty of the airport itself. It wasn't as extravagant as say, LAX, but still pretty impressive.
At boarding time, London doesn't hesitate to speak up when her section is called, stopping at the ticket desk to ask "Excuse me, how much does it cost to get moved to first class?" Her dislike for standard class seating is strong.
You'll most likely find London pouting in her seat next to you. She really did want that first class seat!
Hakutai Inn
London doesn't do free. Free means common, bottom-of-the-barrel, get what you're given. She'd rather be a chooser than a beggar. However, with London's small scale office job, where she makes a cool dollar or two for every thousand her father earned back home, she's seen just enough rejection to be aware that she wouldn't be able to afford her first choice lodgings at the Eterna City Resort Hotel. She's slowly coming to terms with having to settle, and in the grand scheme of things, the inn is far nicer a place to settle for than she'd have expected, even if there is no furniture.
Hey, at least she doesn't have to share both her airplane space and her sleeping space with other people.
If you run into her in the lobby of the inn, she's in relatively good spirits about being able to make somewhat of a choice, even though it is limited, but perhaps oddly forlorn to be in a hotel lobby without Mr. Moseby running a tight ship.

(London may or may not have noticed that the girl in question seems to be traveling with one of London's younger fellow Rocket, Connie.)

"First class is the best there is! Well, at least it is if you have to fly commercial. Back home, I had a private jet! There's no seating on a private jet that's not first class!"
She does recognize Connie, although they'd never really quite spoken.

"Really? What if it's a cheap private jet?"
Akane isn't sure if there are such things, but it's a question she might as well ask.
no subject
"Then I guess you'd just have to hope the cheap polyester seat upholstery doesn't give you a rash."

"Well, guess they don't make cheap airline seats out of tamagochi flooring, so that's a good thing!"
