[ text / action for new bark town ] (cw: blood, probably talk of death/violence)
A. text

S3COND
W1LL TH1S WORK TO G3T BLOOD OUT OF CLOTH1NG OR W1LL 1 N33D TO G3T 4 D1FF3R3NT PRODUCT FROM TH3 N3XT TOWN?
[Here she's attached a photo of the standard bottle of liquid soap that comes with the backpack.]
B. action
[If anyone's on the lookout for newbies, Terezi can be spotted sitting by a flowerbed next to "Mom's" house. She doesn't look any less human than anyone else here, at least at first. Though her ears have a bit of a point, they're hidden by her black hair, and the sharpness of her teeth is concealed by her pursed lips as she taps away at her Pokégear. No, if there's anything to raise concern, it's the fact that she looks like she's had a bad accident with some paint, or perhaps smashed a box worth of Grape-Berry Double Homicide Gushers against herself. Teal and purple mar her shirt and even stick to her face and arms in places.]
[It doesn't really smell like paint, or the corn syrup-laden fruit approximant of candy, either. It's dry by now, but one might recognize the smell of blood.]
[Her starter isn't far: a Gible wanders about the flowerbed proper, occasionally casting a concerned glance back at her new trainer in between devouring whatever blooms might remain at this time of year. She'll settle for withered stems, too; she ain't picky.]

he's got a bunch of random spoilers from dirk now tho
And I'm not surprised they did. Cold water's use in getting stains out was one of the most important things I learned after I first left home.
[There's the sound of footsteps going down a stairs and the screen suddenly turns on to reveal a perfectly pleasant-looking human man: dark, bespectacled, and somewhere on the threshold of early middle age. There's an adorable tiny dragon perched on the shoulder of his button shirt.]
This is Kazul! I met her a few months ago during the dragon swarm. She's very sweet. My friend Tyler has another one like her, only Spyro's a bit larger now, since he 'evolved' as they call it locally.
FINALLY GETS BACK TO THIS...
[The worst of the stains are also kept neatly out of view.]
She is adorable! I did not know there were ones that small.
[Ambassador Berrymaw is excited, too: she babbles effusively up at the screen. It is not actually the easiest for her to look at when her body is mostly a head with some stumpy limbs attached, but she makes do.]
And you say there was a whole swarm?
AND THEN I LOST THE NOTIF BUT I FOUND IT AGAIN
I didn't know either until Tyler's Spyro hatched--he got the egg from the Pokemon League as an apology for Prom getting attacked again. We all got eggs, actually.
But yes. Often enough, for whatever reason, a bunch of Pokemon of the same general kind will just descend all over the two regions for a day or two. We had a swarm of birds back in March, a swarm of cats back in May, I think, and then a swarm of dragons over the summer. July possibly?
Otherwise, dragons aren't so easily found, unless they let you into the Dragon's Den up in Blackthorn--and you have to defeat Clair in battle for that, annoyingly.
Well and sometimes people sell dragon-type eggs.
