Grant
Karako - A variety pack of grocery store snacks, with a mix of savory and sweet options. Grant has picked one with a LOT of bright colors. There’s also a box of crayons in a plastic carrying case that can snap shut for travel, with a note slipped inside:
Maybe these snack packs can help you keep working out what flavors here you like! I hope you get some good use out of the crayons, too - maybe you could show me more about Soldier Purrbeasts sometime.
Dimitri - Navy blue flannel button-up pajamas, very simple and respectable at a glance. However, there is a little lavender rattata embroidered behind the breast pocket, like it’s just hiding out in there. There’s also a note tucked inside:
Seems like Kent has been helping out, so hopefully you’ll have some use for these now. I kind of guessed at the sizing, so let me know if they don’t fit right.
Sylvain - A bottle of cologne in a warm, slightly spiced scent labeled as “Pyroar”. Attached is a small note:
The scent seemed right for you, but if it turns out not to be your thing, let me know and I can see about trading it out for something else.
Claude - A book compiling known information about the Legendary Pokemon, along with one of those clip-in bookmarks that doubles as a book light. Upon delivery, bookmark clip is holding a small folded note to the book:
Apparently, some Pokemon are completely one-of-a-kind, and I thought you might want to know more about those guys. The light should make reading when we’re camped out at night easier - just don’t overdo it (or, if you do, don’t tell the others you got the light from me).
Felix - A pair of gloves with grips on the palms and fingers, so they should be pretty warm while also allowing him to handle objects more effectively than standard winter gloves. There’s a note tucked into one of them:
I’m looking forward to getting to know you better in this upcoming year. In the meantime, if you can get a suitable sword here, I hope these can help with keeping a grip on it in cold weather.
Chip - So, Grant wants to make sure to get Chip something they’ll like, but also he’s their dad and it’s getting cold out and he’s obligated to be a little boring and practical, so the first part of his gift is a matching coat, hat, and the kind of mittens where the mitten part flips back to reveal fingerless gloves - though, to his credit, it’s all Pikachu-themed, with little ears on the hat and a little tail on the coat and the mittens made to look like a Pikachu’s little rodent paws.
Peeking out of the coat pocket is a little Eevee plush; there’s a charm bracelet clipped around its neck like a collar, empty except for a single bead charm resembling the Zephyr badge, and a folded-up note tucked into that makeshift collar:
Dear Chip,
I was researching Eevee, and it turns out these guys can evolve into lots of different types, depending on how you go about evolving them. Pretty cool, huh? On the other hand, I don’t know how popular these bracelets are anymore, but the same is kind of true of them, since the idea is to fill them up with whatever charms you happen to like so they’re completely unique.
The thing is, thinking about Eevee kind of reminded me of you. You’re already one of the most amazing people I know, and there’s still so much potential in you that we can’t even see all of yet. I want you to remember that, as you fill up this bracelet with whatever you want to.
No matter what anyone says, you can become whoever you want - and I know that you’re going to be incredible, because you already are.
I love you,
Dad
