Today, 10 Great Tree Moon - or April 10, if that's more your style - a small section of beach along Olivine's coast has been rendered 'for private use only' for a time.

In Fodlan, Great Tree Moon is the beginning of the new year, coinciding with the onset of true spring. This wedding wasn't deliberately planned as a symbolic expression of this fact, but it's a happy coincidence that it is one.

Those gathered for the event today are a tiny group, by the standards of Kingdom nobility. If this were taking place in Faerghus, every lord and lady would have been expected to show up, bearing lavish gifts and false flattery on their tongues. Here, it's just a bunch of friends and partners, nothing more. And everyone present is likely to agree that this is much, much better.

[Hello, network, are you tired of this man yet? Because here he is again, looking way too excited about something. He's frantically pointing at his own device, grin splitting across his face.]

When were you going to tell me about this? [It's not clear who the "you" is supposed to be here, or if it's a general reference. Either way, whatever he's pointing at isn't immediately clear. NOt that Sylvain seems to realize it -- he keeps pointing rather frantically at his screen.

Until his smile fades in the slightest.]

[The feed switches to screen sharing mode, showing off a fully completed Fletchindr profile. It even has a rather adorable picture of Sylvain and his Feebas. Which is weird, because he usually can't stand the thing.]

I thought being able to talk to girls across the world was amazing, but it turns out you can just tell them you're interested without having to talk in the first place? [He flips over to the array of potential matches, and swipes right on every single one that pops up.]

So -- if you're on here? I can't wait to talk to you. And if you have any advice about how it works, you know I am all ears.

I need a little bit of advice. I'm sure everyone's seen how cold it's getting here. Gautier's are bred for the cold, but even we need jackets. [He makes a show of rubbing his arms but... really he doesn't look too bothered.]
