[It's that time again - holidays! Which means holiday events and festivities. Once again, Lust is seated in her dressing room at Medusa, this time dressed in seasonaly appropriate costume.]
Before we get to the advertisement...as some of you may know, I've recently inherited Club Medusa as my friend and its founder is no longer among us. I intend to keep the club going with no changes whatsoever - why fix what isn't in the least bit broken? But I confess I've little experience in running a business and would be happy to hire a consultant if one is available.
Now. On to the promised advertisement....
Happy holiday time to all. The winter is once again fast approaching, and with it, the winter holidays. And once more, Club Medusa in Ecruteak would like to invite all those of an appropriate age to enjoy our celebratory shows. Our Wonders of Winter spectacular will be running from this weekend through to the holiday. Enjoy themed drinks, music, stage shows, and a holiday raffle. Join us and keep warm in festive style all evening long.
[And oh-so-casually:]
My husband and I both hope to see you there.
Wear a festive sweater and your first drink is free.

[He's quiet for a moment, before adding,] I suppose Lydia's pokemon that didn't go to me ended up going to you.

My employee, Scorpia, ended up finding her Bewear, Leuko, wandering around Ecruteak after it happened. She's adopted him and Tyler's Bewear, Squee, as well.

It's how I ended up with a dozen evolved Eevees. Only one of them was originally mine.

Oh really? Do you have all the eveelution... sorry, evolutions? I was just given one and we're trying to decide what to try for. I was thinking either Umbreon or Sylveon—though I suppose Glaceon could finally give me an Ice-type, not that my Wailord isn't doing fairly well with ice attacks himself.

Oh. How's Mehitabel doing?
[He remembers your kitty from before you blew him off!]

Honestly, my own Mehitabel's never actually battled. She's really just a glorified house cat at this point.

I have some that don't battle, either. It all depends on their interest and inclination. And I've some, like my Amoz, who seem to live to battle. I've met other Houndooms who quite enjoy it as well, perhaps it's something in the species.

[He's smiling. Steven's pretty fond of little Leo.]
... it's funny. My ex- had this one Houndoom who was just the chubbiest thing and had never battled in his life so far as I know, and Leo was completely convinced that Doom Boner was his daddy. He wasn't--he was actually one of the surprise eggs that Tyler and Lydia used to end up finding from time to time--but Leo didn't care.
[... Steven, that's the most roundabout way to say you're not dating Jack anymore.]

I sometimes wonder how much that sort of things even matters to Pokemon. But I've had very few eggs - which is a surprise, but I'm grateful. Only our Meowstic have ever had eggs. I'm lucky I'm not drowning in Eevees.

I've had eggs from Mehitabel--two of which were Meowths, one of which surprised Tyler by being a Stufful--as well as from my Mudsdale and various ghosts. Nothing since summer, though. Maybe they've calmed down some.

I can't begin to comprehend how Pokemon breeding works, to be quite honest.

Breeding seems pretty complicated, yeah. I talked to that old couple that runs the daycare about it once—they have entire systems to figure out what moves pokemon will be born with.
