I was wondering...would you be okay with me seeing if I can talk to Chip? I don't expect them to open up and explain every little thing that's bothering them, but maybe...knowing they can reach out to someone who isn't around every single day might help?

[Jane knows this world is, compared to many others, probably the most safe a world could be for kids to wander around on their own, but that doesn't mean the people they leave in their wake will be any less worried. And she does feel really bad to be a friend who just wasn't aware that there was a Situation going on.]

I think... that'd be worth a shot. You will have to be ready for them to clam up; there are... things involved here that they almost certainly won't want to talk about. But I know you understand that, so maybe it'd help to have one more person to talk to, yeah.

Great! [Genuinely, he's pretty glad for that, both for their sake and Jane's. It seems like she could use something like that as much as any of the travel group.] We'll look forward to it - and, if it's a regular thing, we can try and make arrangements on our end to make the visit easier on you.

[What kind of arrangements? He doesn't know, he hasn't thought much about logistics yet. Maybe they can make sure things are set up so that she can rest right away after making the trip over, something like that.]

[It's... exciting. With his social life being so... barely-existent for so long, it's been a while since there's been much reason to work out visiting schedules with friends like this - and being able to help improve Jane's situation in any way is a huge plus.]

[It's honestly just nice to know that there are people who would want to come visit. She tries - goodness knows she tries, Jane is not a shut-in by any means, but meeting up with folks for this world's usual shenanigans and having a normal sort of get-together are two entirely different things. And it's...lonely, when no one but your Pokemon live with you. Not that they aren't wonderful company! But maybe it's been wearing on Jane in more ways than she realized.]

I guess I should make sure to keep tea stocked in my cupboards, then!
