[VIDEO] TWO ISLAND PHOTOGRAPHY! (And More!)
[The camera opens up to a shot of a studio store-front in the tropics- a gentle breeze, a brilliant sun...
What a nice change from the March Madness leading into April Showers, right? The storefront itself seems cheery too- 'Snap Into It' is a sign sitting proudly over the main door in, and while curtains are drawn in the upper level, one can probably guess why that is.
Especially when Carly- along with her Mimikyu (And boy it's been a bit since Mimi-chan made an appearance huh!), a green cotton-puff of a woobat, and a somewhat confused looking Silvally, come grinning on screen.]
It's finally here..~! And so am I~! Hello everyone! After a long trip on the water, and a lot of renovating and construction, I'm proud to say that instead of making maps, I can finally do something I've really dreamed of!
Making your greatest moments lasting ones!
Snap Into It is finally open! A photography studio based on Two Island! And if things go well enough, I might even be able to sell ice cream here too- I've been doing private orders for that, but the better things go, the more likely I'll be able to keep it up after all!
But enough about ice cream- want a perfect vacation shot? Need someone for your wedding, or for your Gym Debut? Look no further than Snap Into It!
[Behind her, her woobat gives a 'cheer'. WOOO!!]

Two Island...would you need to travel there by Pokemon?
-slaps this down on the way to bed-
But the best option is the Ferry. It's free, it's right there, it'll get you right over! Heck, Jolyne and I sailed our house here~!
no subject
You sailed your whole house by ferry? That's impressive...you must have really wanted to move out there.
[Onto an island, no less.]
no subject
No, no, Jolyne and I have a house boat. We sailed the house itself to get here!

[Like. Did he hear that right.]

The Sevii Island chain is numbered, they don't have uh...other names.

[And if so, shouldn't whoever named them have tried harder...?]

[He shakes his head, as if to dismiss the question before Carly can answer or do so herself. Around his shoulders, however, lays a snoozing shiny Salandit which he seems keen to ignore.]
Anyway, you do realize everyone has the ability to take their own photos, right? It's not that hard to do. Really, do you think your selfie game is so hard that people will pay you for it?
no subject
Also that's like saying 'well anyone can draw! why would anyone pay for commissions!'. Professional Photography isn't just taking a selfie.
Also, it was literally my job at home? It wasn't an independent studio sure, but it was still my job, I kind of had to train for it!

[He knows the indigo bloods love the stuff, but...]
Drawing and photography are hardly comparable. Of course anyone can take shit photos, but don't try to fucking pretend taking a picture of something before you is anywhere near as skillful as replicating it by prong.
All I'm saying is that if you have the skills to be paid for this work, then I find it a little suspect you'd be opening your business to just anyone. Why not make a name for yourself among larger agencies first—unless you don't have the actual skill for it, I guess there's always that.

[One of those nerds who doesn't even have basic electricity yet, u kno]
May I ask about what goes into getting wedding photos...?

[Photos are cool. In fact, they're pretty new and dandy to Sasha, but there's something so much more important being mentioned!]
Why not now?

And I mean, I could still do a bucket on order obviously, but I'm talking about like, little ice cream bowls and such. I don't really have the manpower to handle both an ice-cream booth and a photo studio right now...plus the latter is where I have experience.

Why, want a tub?
no subject
[She means the employee responsible for scooping, but words are hard! Especially when the next question has one that can mean two different things and one definition is the only one Sasha is familiar with.]
...But we have a tub in the bathroom already. I thought we were talking about ice cream.

Oh, Miss Carly! That is excellent news! Perhaps we will come to visit your shop and see about having a portrait taken. I'm sure Jonathan would not object to that.
no subject
I could probably frame it like you'd have those paintings done actually, you guys are from like...a bit before cameras were a little more typical right?
no subject
[She smiles warmly.]
But as it is not here, a framed portrait would be lovely.
