[The feed opens with a Delphox and a Beheeyem. Neither is looking at Gear; instead, a large open suitcase holds their full attention. After a few moments, the Beheeyem moves to stand within. With a nod, the Delphox grabs the top part of the suitcase... and promptly tries to slam it shut, slamming his companion's head with each attempt.

A strange game, to be sure, and one that's not particularly safe. But maybe they know what they're doing?

Suddenly, a Meowstic shoves herself in front of the camera, deliberately ignoring the pair and bearing a large piece of paper. Inscribed upon it, in the most offensive shade of pink known to man, is a simple message:]

WHAT DO U BRING 2 A PARTY ?

[...It's not a game, and they have no idea what they're doing. Help.]

Well, this is a fancy party, so fancy clothes? Also clean underwear, but that's more of a universal thing.

[Especially for someone who lost his pants as often as Ron did.]

Shindigs like this usually take care of the food and other stuff like that themselves.

Why are you guys trying to shove each other in a suitcase?

[Apparently, some preparations were already taken care of, because the Delphox runs off for an instant and comes back with a black clothing cover bag. With a cheer, the Beheeyem grabs it and shoves it in a cornet of the suitcase, indoubtedly creasing its contents.

Meanwhile, a pink arm comes onscreen just long enough to give the Meowstic another piece of paper. She glances at it quickly, then turn it around so Ron can read the words.]

SIZE TEST. DUMMIES♥

Okay, so first of all I can understand you guys perfectly fine, no signs needed.

Second of all are you guys trying to kidnap somebody?

[Really? That's so great! But they wouldn't kidnap someone, that's too much work and you have to feed them, no way! It's just that Dad is asleep, and he'll probably still be asleep tomorrow, and if he wakes up too late he won't have time to get ready for the party, so they're doing that for him, but only Rosie knows what he needs and she's too busy trying to keep the house in one piece to do more than write messages, and-

The Meowstic's breathless explanation is punctuated by the repetitive sound of the Delphox trying to close the suitcase and failing. Still standing, still inside, the Beheeyem cheers him on.]

That doesn't really explain the whole size test dummies thing. Because what it sounds like is that you're tryin to make sure he'll fit in the suitcase if he doesn't wake up on time. Which is kind of still kidnapping?

[Oh no, no! The boys are the silly dummies! They're the ones who insisted on measuring the suitcase with their own bodies. Poor little Fu's been like that since he hatched, they say. Avenger swears his egg got dropped on the floor a few times, but Esuna claims that's a lie, so who knows?

Besides, if they were trying to kidnap their trainer, which they are not, they'd use the bigger luggage meant for longer trips. It has extra sections at the front! And wheels! Much easier to move human bodies with those, yes.

The Delphox interrupts his attempts long enough to nod. Moving a whole human without wheels is just asking for back problems, you know.]

...it's a little scary that you've already got that worked out.

Fu, dude, if you actually wanna get shut in the suitcase, it'd probably help if you laid down first.

[Well, of course she has that worked out! Their whole family has received an excellent education in all subjects even if some have taken to it better than others. An education she's very proud of, if that little cat smile is any indication.

Fu the Beheeyem, however, just looks up and stare at the camera blankly. Lie down? But that would involve letting the suitcase win! How could he possibly bear the shame? He won't give up, no matter what!]

*Sion recognizes that 'gear ID...*

Your trainer isn't handling packing himself?

[In response, whichever Pokémon is holding the Pokégear turns away from the packing, finally settling on a bed. A bed where Cecil is lying perpendicularly, fully dressed yet face down. Someone thoughtfully braided his hair to avoid potential tangling.

Yeah, uh, about that...]

*oh, dear*

... I see. And you're still hoping to attend the party anyway?

[The camera turns back towards the Meowstic, who nods before raising a new piece of paper.]

6 DAYS 1 LEFT

[He'll wake up soon, they all know it! But maybe not soon enough to pack by himself, so they have to help.]

Well, as long as he wakes up with a few hours to spare I'm sure he'll manage. Though I suppose if you want to make it easier on him, you could simply set everything he might need out ready for him to pack, and make sure that all the other chores are done before then...

[The Meowstic grins and nods at that. They've cleaning, both at home and at the Gym! Dad won't have to lift a single finger when he wakes up! Come on, come on, turn around and show him-

The cameramon does, indeed, turn around to show Sion a close view of an absolutely spotless desk. No loose papers lying around! See, they even dusted it!]

Well, it looks like you're certainly doing a good job! Then really, if you just set out some of the things he'd most need to pack along with the suitcase, I'm sure he'll manage. A few changes of clothes, toiletries, and the like.

*unless they're so desperate for help that they'd want Sion to briefly swing by to assist, but given how he does enjoy teasing and pranking friends, Cecil's probably better off without that help. Probably.*

[Clothes and toiletries, they can do that! The Meowstic bounces happily, in and out of the frame. They're going to bring all the lipsticks! All the mascara brushes! All the powders! All the-]

KNIFE ?

[Thank goodness Rosie is close enough to ask the important questions. There is now one loose sheet of paper on the desk.]

Usually people don't need to bring their own knives to a party, no.

*unless you're paranoid like he is at times and feel a need for self-defense, but he's figuring Cecil would rather choose his own weapon in that case*

[That particular announcement is met by a chorus of shocked gasps. The Meowstic even grabs a pen to add three more questions marks to the question.

Are you really sure about that, mister?]

I'm quite sure the facility will have a fully-supplied kitchen of its own, should the need to borrow any cooking implements arise. Besides, if you want to make extra sure, you can just ask him when he wakes up. Everything else will already be packed, after all.

[Visibly crestfallen, yet determined to do a good job, the Meowstic nods once. Fine, fine, they'll leave the knives at home.

A voice calls out to the side, and the camera turns around to show the Delphox holding a pair of winter boots. Humans need to wear shoes when they go out, right?]

It's a bit too warm out for those. Surely he has other shoes?

*Cecil is going to owe Sion so much for this, at this rate*

[The Delphox looks at the boots, looks back at the Gear, and gives a thumb (or, well, whatever passes for one) up. Okay, got it!

Cecil would be most thankful for this were he not, you know, unconscious, but as it is he doesn't even react when the Beheeyem climbs over him to look for more shoes.]

Do you know which outfits he usually wears when he's going out to a special event?

*he's... not entirely sure whether the 'mons will have any sense with this one, but if he can get them to pull out a few examples he can at least direct them towards something decent*

[Surprisingly, all of the Pokémon present nod and cheer. The Delphox runs off to grab a black clothing bag, while the source of the written messages makes its return.]

[Considering the regular presence of that particular color in Cecil's wardrobe, shoes that match be easy to identify, even for a brain as... free of thought as Fu's.]

*oh good, that's at least one thing handled, then!*

Ah, and already properly stored, of course. You can set that one out for him to pack when he wakes up, and then it's just a matter of finding a few nice changes of clothes.

[Works for them! They mostly know how their trainer dresses, they can complete a set or two! Socks included. He'll be nicely dressed the whole weekend!

Who knew Cecil actually owns an orange shirt, though? With the black pants that are now being brought out, he'll look like he came straight out of Halloween...]

*... you know what, Sion's just.... not even going to say anything about that. Besides, as long as Cecil has at least one nice outfit it's fine if there's an odd choice or two mixed in, right? Right.*

[That they do! Thank you very much for your help! Now they know exactly how to make sure Cecil doesn't panic when he wakes up!

Well, he might panic when he sees the tangle of headbands that just got thrown at the bottom of the suitcase, but surely that's a minor detail.]

[No further questions here! Or at least none that are relevant to the situation, because the Beheeyem really wants to know-
