[Don't question why this dipshit is doing this video outside with a mudbray leaning against his side and... well, at least the krabby is still on his shoulder and a crabrawler is sitting on the other shoulder looking quite pleased with herself.]

Right, so an interesting question came up in a conversation with one of the people I'm travelling with.

This place is quite odd as it is, as are these creatures, I know back home that horses were the primary mode of transportation. Whether by riding, carts, caravans, etc. In this place, is that still the case or are some other creatures used for those types of tasks...?

[He's shifting the camera to look at the mudbray who looks a little surprised to have the camera at her and is immediately bucking back with a loud little whinny. Lovely.]

Clearly she isn't much yet, but according to the guide on these creatures, she'll somehow turn into a draft horse...? Weird, but clearly knights and draft horses are quite one in the same in how they operate. But yes, if you happen to know any other creatures suitable for riding, please do let me know.

[ The subject of transportation has been on Rainer's mind a lot lately, what with how much traveling they've been doing. And it would seem it's been on Fitzroy's mind, too!

She waits until he's done recording his video, then wheels herself over, Pokedex in her lap. ]

Oh, Fitzroy, that reminds me! You know that little electric ghost one I caught? The one that's like a flying red diamond shaped thing? [ Rotom, she means Rotom. ] The guide says they can possess machines and power them, so I was thinking... I'm going to try to get Buzz to power my chair!

I've been riding North around when I need to ride anything.

[Ron's oversized Furret pokes his head into the frame, speaking his species name in a somewhat serious tone.]

That's him, by the way.

[As Sasha responds, one should catch the background behind her being an absolute strange blur. She's making her way downtown, walking(?) fast, faces pass, but she's not homebound.]

You can use flying Pokemon if you have the Zephyr badge!

[So Dimitri had to immediately telepad back to Olivine, switch out some Pokemon in the Pokecenter, get back to their rental home, kiss Sylvain on the cheek, and then set up...]

[What pops up on the video is the sight of an actual Christmas-type sleigh situated on a sunny beach in Olivine, hooked up to.... rats.]

[Four Raticate, as a matter of fact, each of them large enough for a child to ride - maybe even a small or young teenager. In the case of one especially fluffy specimen, the harness seems to almost disappear into her fur.]

Back when we all first started, a more horse-like steed wasn't yet available to us in Violet City. Back then, I managed to purchase a sled for us to put our items on. Around Goldenrod, it is easier... And that is around when we managed to purchase a used sleigh! It was the holiday season, you see.

[And sleighs apparently have to do with Christmas. After having met Santa Claus, Dimitri can see why.]

For short distances, two of my Raticate can pull it on my own, but having all four of them work on it makes it far easier! The harnesses are easy enough to adjust to other Paliens as well.

[Dimitri sounds so proud and fond...... He loves them]

Oh yeah! I have a Mudsdale! He doesn't cover ground very quickly, but he's a lot easier to sit on than my Onyx - she's like a giant snake made out of rock and she got me from New Bark Town to Goldenrod in like three weeks.

As far as flyers go, um... The best one is the one that's big enough to carry you and listen to you? [ He rubs the back of his neck; apparently this advice comes from a hard learning experience that may or may not be ongoing. ] I have a couple of dragons I use but my friend has a steel bird called a Corviknight! All of 'em would probably look awesome for a knight!

You're really a knight where you're from?

[ Kirishima leans in a bit, eyes widening with boyish interest. ]
