17th [video network post]
[The video starts on Kazuki sitting on the grass in front of a very charming little building. A wooden sign hanging from the eaves is visible. It reads: Silver Horn. A Dragon Type Silvally walks into frame to join him, sitting down and nuzzling him with its metal jaw. He laughs, and slings an arm over the Pokemon's back. It wags its fish-fin tail happily. Kazuki looks back up towards the camera with a bright smile.]
How's the shot, Sebastian?
[A neat, white paw makes an okay sign in front of the camera.]
Great! Well... [He pauses to clear his throat.] Welcome to the Silver Horn!
It's been close to a year since I started thinking this up, and I honestly can't believe everything's finally finished! The place was so run down when I bought it, and I felt like it'd never be done... But we made it! It's ready!
First off, I wanted to thank everyone for all their help with this. Whether you made a donation, or stopped by to give me a hand-- I never would have been able to do it without your support. [He gives a short bow.] Thank you so much!
Second, since not everyone knows about it, I want to explain what the Silver Horn is.
My name's Kazuki Hihara, and I'm getting close to being in the Pokemon world for four years now. I've never been much of a Pokemon trainer, or even a catcher. Almost all of my Pokemon came to me somehow, whether they needed my help, or were given to me as eggs, or found me after a friend left... And they all had one thing in common. They all needed a place to be.
For awhile, I had my own place in Lavender Town where I let them all live. I used to volunteer at Mr. Fuji's orphanage too, and I really liked it there. I realized I wanted to do something like that myself. I wanted to make something that would lighten the burden on places like that. A soft place to land, you know? And for people! Otherworlder's specifically. So many people come here shocked, or scared, and they just need a place to heal up, or get used to things. I wanted to help them too.
After Aether Paradise, I really figured out that that kind of vision was mine too. But my Aether Paradise was gonna be for real. And I was outgrowing my place in Lavender, so I couldn't do it there. So I bought this property, and... Now we're here, I guess!
That's what the Silver Horn is. It's an inn, but it's also a place to heal and get stronger in. Anyone can stay, for however long they need to. I hope that I'm able to help them.
The grand opening is tomorrow, but since I know some people can't make the visit, I wanted to take everyone for a tour! [Kazuki stands up, and Sarge stands up with him to follow.] Let's go, Sebastian!
[In order to spare you a ton of narration, I'll summarize:]
[Kazuki takes the camera into the inn first. He shows off the dining room, the kitchen, and the sitting room. He peeks into the communal bath, and quickly shows us the soundproofed music room, complete with upright piano. Then he goes upstairs, and walks through a couple of the rooms. Each of them has a small attached bathroom.]
[Then he takes everyone outside. Adjacent to the main building is a large garden. There are flowers here and there, but the main focus is on fruits and vegetables, herbs, and berry bushes. A trail leads away from the property, and towards a small lake in the distance. Along this trail, Kazuki points out several Pokemon dens in different places, such as burrows and hollows in trees. The lake itself is gorgeous and clear.]
[Throughout the tour, Kazuki's Pokemon are everywhere, and he explains the different jobs they've all taken up to help run the inn. In the kitchen, the laundry, the garden, the trails... His Pokemon are involved in every aspect of the Silver Horn. There's a strong sense of teamwork there, that they're all supporting each other.]
That's pretty much everything, right? [Kazuki looks back at the camera, and it bounces in a nodding motion.] Thanks for your time, everyone. And thanks again for all your help. I couldn't do it without you!
I hope to see you all soon!

[ Yuzu is currently... somewhere in Union Cave. She'll never admit it, but she's definitely a little lost. She didn't know that she didn't have to go down. She'd simply assumed because... cave exploration? In any case, she looks tired, though she's still going strong and trying to find her way back up to the simpler upper floor and out of the wide network of tunnels. ]
Where is this Inn? To be honest, I kind of wanna visit...
no subject
[After a moment for the excitement to die down, Kazuki notices Yuzu is somewhere really dark, and looks kinda tired.]
Where are you now? Do you know?
in which I rolled to see how well Yuzu's trip would go and rolled a nat1
[ Which would be sooner than she thinks... and fortunately so, since Azalea Town is just after this cave, as well as her destination. Speaking of the cave... ]
Oh, Union Cave... it was pretty easy at first, but I went down and now...
[ The sound of a Zubat screeching cuts her off, and Yuzu flinches a bit. Fortunately for her, it's not too close to her, so she's spared from another battle with the things. ]
Well, I think I took a wrong turn somewhere, so now I'm trying to get back to the upper area...
[ The haunting and melodious calls had interested her, but she's had just about enough of this place... besides, this was apparently the beginners cave, so she probably didn't even need to go down in the first place. ]
I'm doing fine, though! Just a little lost...
[ Yuzu, honey, you've been in this cave for almost two days now... ]
lol oh no
I could send a team down if you need it! My Pokemon know this area really well!
no subject
Are you sure...? If it's not too much trouble, then I'd appreciate that...
no subject
[It's an easy pick: Ampharos and Absol. Ampharos for it's bright tail and Absol for it's ability to sense danger. They're both level 100, so wild Pokemon won't be an issue.]
no subject
[ Stay put she does... after all, it's the best course of action right now, after all. She didn't want to have to rely on anyone like this, but even she knows when to throw in the towel... and right now, she just wanted to be done with this cave already... and also prepare herself properly for the next time she ended up in a cave.
Because "beginner" implies harder ones. ]

[They approach her with friendly openness. The Absol has a bag in it's mouth, which it gives to her. There are snacks inside!]
I somehow missed this—
[ It's easy to tell that these are probably the Pokemon that Kazuki sent, considering how friendly they are compared to the wild Pokemon, as well as the snack bag, which Yuzu takes gratefully. ]
Thanks, you guys...
[ She'll give them some pets before following them out of the cave. ]
lol it's okay!
The sun was probably a welcome sight.
Cotton and Tsukimori take Yuzu all the way back to the Silver Horn, where Kazuki is waiting on the porch.]
Hey! Good to see you!
no subject
Also wow this is a nice-looking place! Her trip to Azalea was really well-timed, huh... ]
Hey! Seriously, thanks for the help... I was probably gonna be stuck in there for another day or so...
no subject
It can be tough in the beginning, huh? I started out in Kanto and I remember Mt. Moon being pretty overwhelming.
Do you need anything? Maybe a bath? There's a Japanese style one in the inn-- I mean, with a name like Yuzu, you're Japanese, right?
no subject
[
We're going to assume this since ethnicity never really got brought up outside of which dimension you come from in Arc-V.Yuzu perks up at the mention of the bath, actually... because lord knows she definitely needs one after all of the traveling, plus getting stuck in a cave. ]Ah, a bath... that sounds really nice, thank you!
[ This place seems like a wonderful place to stay while at Azalea... and also generally just visit in general sometimes if you need to rest. She'll be keeping this place in mind. ]
How much do you charge for stays here...?
[ She has to ask, since he mentioned in his initial post that you could stay as long as you needed, but it has to be asked... especially since she's never really been wealthy, so she spends carefully. ]

[ She'd feel bad if she stayed here for nothing. Still, even if she plans to help out to pay for her stay, right now? She would really like that bath. ]
I can let my Pokemon out as well, right? They probably need some time to rest as well.
[ She did see the outdoor area in Kazuki's initial post, after all. They were slogging through the cave alongside her, so some time outside is probably something they've been needing. ]
I'm so sorry I didn't notice this!
All good! Probably a good place to end here as well
[ She'll head inside then... as well as head for the outdoor area so that she can let her Pokemon out to have some fun while Yuzu then immediately heads for the bath and finally relax.
This place is definitely gonna be a go-to for her whenever she needs to rest, that's for sure. ]

Oh Kazuki that's wonderful news! Congratulations! It looks absolutely amazing, you must be so proud!
I can't wait to come to the opening.
[A shiny togekiss shimmies Hermione out of the frame, and trills happily at Kazuki and Sebastian, congratulating them in his own way.]
no subject
[Now that Kazuki is holding the camera, Sebastian, a male Indeedee, comes into frame. He waves sedately at the Togekiss.]
no subject
I'm so glad you were finally able to finish it. The pokemon look like they're really loving it.
[Hermione looks wistful. She's been travelling since she arrived and she misses the little cottage with the pond she had with her pokemon the last time she'd been here. Being on the road all the time was exhausting. It had been nice to have a place to come home to. Right now she was feeling adrift. Yorokobi nuzzles her gently, cooing. She gives him a grateful smile, smoothing out the feathers on his back.]
What time is the opening? Do you need me to bring anything? Is it okay if I bring some of my pokemon?
no subject
Bring whatever you want, whenever you want, with as many Pokemon as you want!
no subject
Is it okay if I stay a couple nights? Nimbus will probably need some time to recover. I'd be happy to help out around the hotel if you need?
no subject
Yeah, of course! We can always use help in the gardens, or the kitchens. Or just cleaning up in general.
Video moving to Action
[Before her cash runs out is the unsaid ending to that sentence.]
I'm more than happy to do some odds and ends around the place! I'll go work out the best flight route there and see you tomorrow!
[THE NEXT DAY - ACTION]
[Nimbus circles the inn and surrounding area so Hermione can get a fantastic bird's eve view of all the hard work Kazuki has put into the inn, and she's in awe. He comes down to land gently near the entrance, letting her off before he goes fluttering off to the nearest lake for a drink and a rest. Drinking in the sight of the inn, Hermione smiles widely and makes her way inside.]
Hello? Kazuki?
no subject
Hermione?
[The voice came from inside. Kazuki opened a window on the second floor and leaned out to greet her himself.]
Welcome to the Silver Horn! Stay right there, I'll come downstairs!
Ack I'm so sorry for some reason I thought I'd replied to this!
The place looks wonderful! The videos and pictures don't do it justice.
Do you think you could take me on a proper tour? I'd love to see everything! Is there anything you need help with while I'm here? I'm happy to help out, especially since you've only just opened...
no worries!
no subject
Room for one please, if you have one available.
[She knows they do, but she just wants to give Sebastian an experience.
Also, is it okay if I let my pokemon out to roam around outside? I've been on the road a fair bit, so I haven't been able to let them all out together for a while...
no subject
By all means, let them out! There's plenty of space out there. There's a lake nearby too, if you have any Pokemon that like it underwater better.
