A friend of mine fell asleep and has yet to wake up this afternoon. I've tried splashing water on him, but it was not very effective. Does anyone here known any other methods that we could try?

Rainer is right there with the camera, snapping a photo from a side angle just to make sure they really capture all sides of this ...one...sided... kiss. Ah, well. It's the thought that counts.

Now, it's Snippers 2.0's turn. The little Pokemon doesn't seem to mind being picked up and manhandled, just sort of blinking and blowing some bubbles when he's placed in front of Fitzroy's face. There's a long moment where the group holds their collective breaths...


...before the krabby just starts skittering sideways off of Fitz's body, onto the other side of the bed.

"No--! Someone grab him! He's making a break for it!"

Leonardo attempts to recapture the crab making a break for it. Or, failing that, preventing it from falling off the bed and onto the floor with his arms.

Morgan dives to help Leo, and between them they manage to get the crab back to its place on Fitz's chest.

"Come on, Snippers, don't you want your best buddy to wake up? Here, I'll help you."

She lifts the crab up again just a little and presses its...face...against Fitz's lips. She holds him there for a good five seconds - gotta make sure it takes!

Then she lowers the crab to peer at Fitz and sighs.

"Nope. Kissing is a bust."

Rainer had been leaning forward in her seat, both from excitement and from anticipation, but when nothing happens, she slumps back, frowning.

"Oh." All that adrenaline is starting to drain out of her now, and creeping back in to take its place is concern for her friend.

"Maybe we should wait to see what people say on Leo's internet posting. I can't... think of anything else to try."

She doesn't want to give up, she just needs more time to let the ideas flow.

Leonardo goes to check his internet post and the replies, and reads some of the suggestions. "It seems that these... sleeping incidents often only last about a week or so. And in the mean time, there are still many other things we can try."

He's not giving up yet, not really. Either Fitz wakes up in a week, or they manage to get him up sooner. Both are better than the alternative. "And if nothing else, we just have to stay nearby until he wakes."

How bad could it be?
