Good afternoon everyone, on this unforgivably hot day. I would like to invite those near and far to my ranch. You may have heard that I do ask my visitors for help with the myriad chores, but is that not natural? I help you, you help me...

A bit of hard work is good for you, I say. So lay down you preconceptions and come for a visit. I have a good handful of those shiny Eevees that you all adore so much. Or if that might not strike your fancy, there are a good deal more. Please refer to the Ledger.

As you can see, I also have a bit of a hole in my water type breeding stock. Those with a Marill that they would be willing to trade me should contact me. For my own purposes, I will also be trading for or purchasing Shiftry, Hoppip, Axew, and Victreebel. The sooner you're here, the sooner you might fulfill your dreams. So, what are you waiting for?

Though, do we speak of lobsters to consume or of the Pokémon variety?

I fear they may be one in the same. But no, for this I require them well cared for, destined for the the hay in the barn rather than the boiling pot.

They have an ability I would teach all the isopods just roaming about, cleaning the floors.

Anyway, I need you to go towards Lavender town to fish up as many Clauncher as you can. Or two of each sex. Whichever.

Oh, terrible. No one wants to hear those sorts of words from a savior's mouth. Take them back while you still can.

Oh, but dearest Daeus, even a savior has needs that must be met. Provided, of course, I am indeed a savior to this world.

Still, I suppose I shall carry out your request. Have you any others?

Very well, I'll meet your needs. What do you need? Besides dinner, of course.

I might have a few other requests here and there. But let us price this first task. Money, Pokémon, what can I find for you?

Perhaps assistance in acquiring a rather difficult to find specimen of my own. Not for myself, but dearest Dave has shown keen interest in the individuals known now as 'fossil' types. Should you come across any, I would be more than happy to relieve you of them.

After, of course, you have bred them so you do not miss out on stock. I would even be willing to take an offspring rather than the individual.

I do actually have an idea of where I might find some. Is there any sort of expected time frame?

None at all! Though perhaps before the next eon, as I am unsure how time may pass for us in these bodies.

If you do manage to obtain one, I may forgo your own offer of dinner and cook for you myself. I still remember that recipe you greatly enjoyed, the one you taught me.

Oh ho? Well, this may move up in my priority list. I am such a busy man, after all.

You understand this, of course. ... But surely I can find a moment to find one as a favor for an old friend.

How are those Eevee faring, by the way? You're training them for battle, right? Tell me how that is progressing.

[He tilts the camera so that it scans the area directly around him. His Alolan Ninetails is curled neatly over the entirety of his legs and then some, but sprawled around him - and draped over and upon - are all of the various evolved forms of Eevee. And a singular Eevee curled upon his chest. They are all in various states of sleep, clearly well cared for and doted upon, with tended to fur and relaxed features. Even at rest though their forms are sleek and toned, clearly having been trained to peak condition.]

I do believe that they are doing well enough indeed.

I always did care for what my dearest friends had given me.

Excellent, I am pleased to see such positive progress and how carefully you have been caring for the creatures.

I have another favor to ask, by the way. I just thought of it seeing your lavishly cared-for creatures. I will need to dig a lake come August, and so I will need the best digging Pokémon you can find. Unfortunately, a pack of dogs can only do so much.

Since you are already traveling... Should you come across some specialized creature, I will be thankful. Doubly thankful. I know you and Dave are the best men for the job.
