[ Video messages or voice messages are easier for Eri, who is still learning how to spell and whatnot. First off, let's list off how Eri's time here has been so far. She arrived at 'Mom's' house like everybody else, got plopped down outside with her starter (A Galarian Ponyta), somehow made it to Cherrygrove (helped by the fact that it's a very simple route), and met up with Ochako.

Honestly, meeting up with Ochako was the best thing that could have happened. There was no way this poor six-year-old was making it anywhere past that on her own. With this, she was at least supervised and not on her own... and boy, having someone familiar with her definitely made this whole thing much better on her.

In any case, though, it would be good to make it known that she was here, right? Since apparently Deku-san and a few others from home were here as well, after all. So, with Ochako holding the Pokegear and recording her... ]

Um, hello! I'm Eri, and I'm here now! So, um... hello!

[ She just said 'hello' twice, and you might hear Ochako trying and failing to hold back giggles in the video's background audio. Eri definitely notices it, though, being the one looking directly at her, and pouts a bit... which is honestly cuter, to be honest. Still, whatever, they need to finish the video. ]

I'm six years old, here with Uravity-san, and—AH!

[ She's suddenly cut off by her own surprised yelp as she spots her Applin off to the side... but only after it's found a way to try and catapult itself offscreen and into Eri's arms. Unfortunately, it's aim isn't the best, and it's actually headed straight for Ochako.

There's a brief moment of shouting, the mixed voices of Eri and Ochako filling the audio for a brief moment, but long story short... there's a loud THUMP as Applin collides with the Pokegear in Ochako's hands, and after the screen blurs as the camera flies out of Ochako's hands, the video cuts out.

And that's the post, everybody. Say hello to the newest baby here in the Pokemon World, and... surprise for all the MHA's! ]

[ There's just a small bump on Ochako's head, just a lil shiner... but they're alright! She's alright. They're laughing about it now. It's not like an Applin is a full apple, it's just... a wyrm inside the hollow shell of an apple. It's still not advisable to get beaned by one, but it's less painful, right? ]

Ehehe, apples are my favorite fruit, so I chased him the second I saw him! His name is Candy!

[ She's now bragging about her apple baby that can only learn Withdraw and Astonish. Also, she's named him Candy because... Candy Apple, get it? Listen, Ochako names her Pokemon after food, so Eri is doing the same! ]

[ Do candy apples exist on Nua? We're just going to say for the sake of argument that they do. The Hieronymus Wiggenstaff School For Heroism And Villainy had a crêpe bar, so it's not like decadent foods are completely foreign to Rainer. ]

Is Candy your only Pokemon friend so far?

[ She shakes her head before moving closer to the camera in order to pick up her Pokegear. It gets an up close shot at the bottom of her chin for a moment before she points it at her actual first companion here in this world. ]

No, this is Cotton! She was with me when I woke up in the weird lady's house, and she helped me get to the Cheerygrove! That's where Uravity-san found me!

[ Cherrygrove is the correct name, but whatever. She deserves to be cut some slack on these names. ]

[ She sounds so young, Rainer is willing to cut her as much slack as she needs. ]

You made it all the way to Cherrygrove by yourself, with just Cotton's help?

[ It's impressive enough for someone who's older, but for a little girl like this... Rainer can't help but feel concerned. She knows Ochako is a capable hero, who can take good care of Eri if need be, but she's still only in high school! ]

Where are the two of you headed next, do you know?

[ Well, to be fair... the journey wasn't fun on her own with just Cotton. Fortunately, even if it wasn't the best time of her life, she's gone through worse Cotton is a very capable unicorn (Galarian Ponyta) and essentially made sure that she never went off the path or overexerted herself. Fro there the simplicity of the route to Cherrygrove handled the rest. ]

Mm! I don't think I would have made it without Cotton... [ And she absolutely would not have gone farther than Cherrygrove without someone to hold her hand the way through. Fortunately, Ochako was there to handle that now. ] I think we're closest to... Vi... Vio... ah! Violet City!

[ Yay! She got it right! She looks so proud of herself as well for remembering it on her own. She definitely does sound young, Rainer... younger than she looks as well. Arceus may have turned her into a ten-year-old since that was the Acceptable Age(tm) for a Pokemon Journey, but essentially nothing was changed on the inside. She's still the same six-year-old girl, albeit slightly taller. ]

I'm glad you've got such strong friends to look out for you! That includes Ms. Uravity!

[ All this referring to Ochako by her hero name makes Rainer wish she had ever settled on a villain name for herself. Ah, well. A bit too late for that now; she's not a villain anymore. ]

Violet City should be fun! Is there anything there that you're excited to see?

I was told about this really big tower that moves by itself! Ooh, and that there were bakeries where I can get Apple Pie!

[ Listen, this was her first time even learning that pie existed and that there's an apple version of it. She needs some apple pie as soon as possible. Plus everything else sugary that you can do with apples. What secrets are being withheld from her about the best fruit in the whole wide world? She intends to find out. ]

[ Rainer laughs. This girl's got a one track mind. Not that there's anything wrong with that. ]

You're a girl who knows what she wants in life. I like that.

Mm! I love apples! Have you had Candy Apples before? They're like apples, but EVEN SWEETER!!

[ Eri had quite the sweet tooth, but her personal preference for anything apple-flavored was a definite constant. There were so many things she had to try, after all!

Ah, but she can't get carried away... Ochako is already doing so much for her, after all. Still, she can't help but drool whenever she sees something sweet... ]

You know what? I have had candy apples, and you're right, they're totally sweeter than regular apples!

Have you ever had an apple turnover? My dad bakes them sometimes, they're really good. It's like an apple pie only you can fit it in your hand!

[ Eri's eyes go wide, and some drool starts to trickle out of the corner of her mouth. Apple Turnover!? First it was Apple Pie, now there was another thing!? Just how much is this fruit hiding from her!? HOW MUCH MORE DELICIOUS CAN YOU GET!? ]

Apple... turnover...!

[ She's... not wiping away that drool. Girl is hungry for apple-based confections. ]
