How very nostalgic--I haven't explored ruins for the sake of exploration itself in some two thousand years, at least. Why, I could almost learn to enjoy such an excursion. [With his free hand, he was tossing a smooth red gemstone to himself casually.]

I wonder how terribly cursed we might be to liberate an artifact or two. It certainly seems like a poor decision to make. [Said with a less than charitable smile that might indicate he could not have cared less. The gem fell into his hand again and laid there, Ardyn turning it over a few times with faint interest.]

...Oh, well. I'm keeping it regardless, it's even my favorite color.
