[01] Public Video (+Private Action w/ purramedic)
[An intense-looking woman stares through the pokegear, looking at... something. As intimidating as she tried to come off, her brows were knitted together not in aggression, but in confusion. Anders had done what he could to instruct her, but when it came down to it, he didn't know much more than she did.]
[More magic, she figured. Just like the long-distance mirrors she'd seen in "her" house.]
This is a... "broadcast," I suppose? [She lifted a hand to perform air-quotes.] Anders told me he had seen a significant number of these. I figured it best for the public to become familiar with my face. It is only a matter of time until I have to be a hero.
... again.
So... fear not, dear public, your champion has arrived.
[Anders and Hawke wasted little time in setting out the only discernible path. For the most part, their trip was passed in, if not silence (Hawke certainly loved the sound of her own voice), but in a distant manner. Eager as Hawke was to run her mouth, she wasn't willing to run it at her companion.
There were too many unresolved threads of emotion, too many questions with the potential to disrupt the very core of their relationship.
But eventually, even her conversations subsided, and the silence was the only thing left between them.]

video;
A great many things, depending on who you ask. Champion of booze, breasts and beasts, in my humble opinion. But if you want technicalities, Kirkwall. Lovely city, if you don't mind the slaver history. And the stench.

That so? Sounds like you've been around a bit.
[Well-travelled woman? She seemed a strong character and Snake was beginning to like her. He offered her an amused grunt.]
Guessing Kirkwall was your home?

[Danger just flocked to her, really.]
Close enough, I suppose. [It wasn't as if she had anywhere else. Lothering and everything she had known had been abandoned years before. And in the end, everything she had ever wanted or needed had fallen into her lap in Kirkwall.] What is home to you, Ser Cold and Mysterious?

You can call me Snake. [Everyone else does?]
I'm a soldier back in my world. Don't really have a home as such since I'm based wherever I'm needed. At the moment I'm on a base in the middle of an ocean.

[Still, she could understand the sentiment of not having a home. Kirkwall had become one in time, but for awhile, she felt a bit lost.]
[Not that Snake seemed all that put-out by it.]
