It's getting to be that time of year again and I thought I'd try something new with the Espurr.

[Lust is in her apartment in Ecruteak, in the living room. All four of her Espurr are lined up on the floor in front of the couch Lust sits on, their color coded bowties and bow replaced with solid black ones.]

I invested in a fog machine, it can come in handy at the club, but I thought I could do an eerie little piece with the babies. They've finally learned a little routine, and with the haunted season creeping up on us... But I'd like some feedback.

[She gets up and moves off screen. Fog starts obscuring the view as she turns on the machine.]

There...alright, do your dance. Come on.

[The Espurr with the bow in her hair starts swaying, while a bowtied one on the end promptly sits down. One of them begins to glow but doesn't move. It seems the promised Espurr Dance isn't happening, but...what's that behind the couch?

It's a Mr. Mime, just peeking over the top. And then it disappears, only to peek out from the edge of the couch instead. And then it's gone...until it slides like some sort of poorly designed snake, over the back of the couch and the seats to the floor behind the Espurr. And then it starts a jerky, silent dance. Staring directly into the camera through the fog.]

Sir! What are you doing?

[...Hmmm. So, Millennial Tree Cookie doesn't have much of a sense for things being creepy, but he can certainly tell that this is, uh... it's something. Enough of Something that he's looking just a little bit concerned on-camera.]

Is he... not meant to be doing that?

No, he isn't. He always has to steal focus, he fancies himself some sort of revolutionary performance artist. It mostly amounts to him being unsettling on camera.

I suppose. He could explore other outlets, though. He's going to give someone a heart attack one of these days.

[Hmm. What are some creative outlets he knows about.]

Has he tried... painting?

I'm not certain I'd like to see any of the paintings if he did...

No, that's just how Sir is. He thinks he's terribly artistic. He isn't even supposed to be a part of this, he just can't stand not being on camera.

Oh he's excellent at that. I didn't even find him in the wild, he broke into my home.

No, not typically.

Sir is...special.

Not what I was expecting, either, I was trying to showcase the Espurr. They've been practicing for weeks!

But Sir always has to steal the show.

That's certainly a mission accomplished. I just hope the little ones don't feel too bad about losing their shot at fame and glory. Unless there's another attempt in the works?

I think they need more practice anyway. Perhaps another try when Sir is...elsewhere.

Would inside his pokéball be... elsewhere enough, or is he the type to escape from everything short the PC? He has the look of a very determined mime.

Pokeballs can't contain Sir.

You've no idea just how determined he can be.

Oh, I know his sort, though I'm sure he'd still find ways to surprise me. Escape artists are an absolute joy to train.

To be quite honest, I've abandoned any hopes of traditionally training Sir anyhow. He has little interest in battling and prefers to practice his....art.

...As long as he's happy and not hurting anyone, good for him! Even if it's likely that he somewhat hurt your Espurr's feelings instead.

No, he hasn't hurt anyone, though I sometimes worry he's going to give someone a heart attack.

The Espurr don't seem too bothered, at least. Mehitabel is, but Mehitabel often is bothered in general. I'm afraid I spoiled her too badly in her youth.

That would be seasonally appropriate, in a way... but let's not encourage him to aim for that.

Still, the poor thing! Once the spoiled shining star, forced to watch the spotlight turn away from her. Her disappointment must be immeasurable.

And we'll find...something to channel's Sir particular brand of creative energy.

Do a little synchronized dance of their own while glowing. It's quite endearing, and not nearly as disturbing as Sir's dancing.

It was supposed to be.

I'm not fully sure. I can't tell if it's intentional or if he honestly doesn't know how disturbing he's being.
