[The screen opened up to a very annoyed looking Keith. He glared at the little camera on his device.]

That woman is not my mother.

[And he was gone again. That was it. That was the video. Keith was not happy.]

Log:

The next two weeks started off with Keith getting tossed out of "Mom's" house in New Bark. He immediately followed it up by shouting a few choice words and mean things back at the locked door, giving it a good kick for measure. The gall of that woman... Parents were a touchy subject for Keith, and having someone claim to be his mother after everything he went through with finally finding her almost two decades into his life was a really really sore spot.

He quietly sulked around New Bark for a little while, but didn't stay long, as he knew he was going to have to figure this place out. The black and red cat that was with him seemed useful enough, and Keith easily slipped back into the idea of training an animal to battle. The "Litten", as the PokeDex called it, was eager to listen, and Keith wondered more than once on his trip along Route 29 if the animal was even more intuitive than his cosmic wolf back home.

He arrived in Cherrygrove eventually, though, and decided to spend a few days in town. He had to stock up on a few things anyway, having found out the hard way that he needed to avoid the tall grass until Litten got stronger. Or one of the others he'd managed to catch along the way.

Which was something else he had to think about. Not only did he need to pick up potions, but he needed to pick up these ball things to catch with. Money was going to be A Thing, wasn't it? He sighed.

[What was this? Someone answering him... Keith paused in his walking to look at the device for a second, and then activated it on his end. He looked slightly calmer now, but he was definitely still annoyed about this 'Mom' person.]

[After his initial temper flare had died down, Keith had stuck around to watch for a bit in the hopes of figuring it all out.

Obviously, he still had some question, but he had seen enough.]

[Sorry. If a kinder answer was being sought, Keith didn't have it. He was just going to call it the way he saw it, and it sounded an awful lot like a kidnapping to him! Then again, most kidnappings were this... nice? The few times he'd been abducted had landed him in some sort of prisoner holding cell...]

Could be worse, I guess. We could be in a jail cell or a dungeon or something.

[He’s questioning this whole setup that’s going on here, mostly out of grumpiness at being dragged from his own world. Sure, it’s not all bad, but he does miss his friends.]

That is a good question. I haven't found a good explanation for it, yet... but I've only been here a day.
